Since he last got a medal pinned to his ever-present (and ever stiff) uniform, Esca — known on his dossier as Arcia Cortel — has organized three competitions, co-organized 16, and participated in 35, three of which were fiction activities of 2786 words in addition to 2939 words across three Run-On posts and an ACC match during the most recent wide scale ACC campaign. Besides the 15 Clusters of Ice his writing has earned him, Esca also possesses an astounding pile of 1397 Clusters of Earth and 583 Clusters of Fire from 5 PvP matches and 174 PvE gaming activities. These rigorous trials in gaming, fiction, and even graphics across various competitions have also garnered Esca 12 Crescents for his impressive contributions, including three Ruby, one Amethyst, two Sapphire, four Emerald, and one Topaz-starred reward. In the midst of all this personal activity, however, Esca also made endeavors in teaching and tutoring, passing three courses and earning one degree and one Legion of the Scholar from the Shadow Academy. He went on to pass his variegated experience and work ethic to several students, guiding them to Knighthood and beyond, tutoring them in leadership positions such as Battleteam leader and Sergeant, efforts that got him a Scroll of Indoctrination and three Scrolls of the Master and got Arcona several aspiring members.

Of course, general activity, while impressive, is not all we look for. The meat of Esca's worth lies in what he gives back to his Clan and the club, beyond submissions, shinies, and services. Esca has spent roughly ten months in various Clan-level leadership positions, three of which he's also served the whole Brotherhood as a busy Magistrate to the Herald. While a week as a Battleteam leader (at least, since last rewarded), four months as a Quaestor, and five months as a Proconsul might look a little odd, even flakey, I assure you that Esca is nothing of the sort. His quick steps up through these positions were noble ones of necessity: even if unsure he was suited or ready for the tasks before him, Esca has always been one to put himself forward when he is needed, and his Clan needed him plenty over the last year. Various circumstances from real life emergencies to busy schedules and new DB opportunities had us needing him more and more, and it's always been my comfort to have him there on my team to rely on when everything else was hectic. He served admirably as Quaestor in organizing competitions and managing his members, Aedile, and Battleteam leaders, and he's served even more so as my Proconsul.

Proconsul isn't the most glorious position, not typically. The site will only be able to tell you that I posted several Consul reports, not that he was right there, co-writing each one with me, gathering the numbers and statistics, managing and spearheading our improvement projects and writing about them in his Proconsul report sections. The site won't tell you that he has written countless emails to our clan about wiki updates, tagging articles for review or overhaul in the Arconan Article Improvement Initiative, gathering mentors and plotting a mentorship program, or pushing a recruitment drive — nor will it tell you that he reviews and edits just about every single email I send, without one word of complaint. The site won't tell you that he spends precious few, squandered hours at the end of an insane work day in Google Documents with me, piecing together recommendations, responses, plans, and schedules to better serve our people. But those are all things he does diligently whether or not they're quantified, and they're the many tasks that keep the Clan afloat. If I'm the one above the crowd, shouting about sunshine and rainbows and rallying, then Esca is the one holding me up, the critical pillar of support.

I never really know where to start in quantifying and qualifying everything Esca does for me from day to day. It's not always something easily recognizable, and people don't see it much because he does so much of what he does quietly. He's not the glory kind of guy or your loud kind of leader, but he's hardworking and dedicated. This guy is my right- and left-hand man. So thank you, Esca, for doing the dirty work, the work that isn't so grand or rewarding, that keeps us all together and keeps Arcona strong. We're all grateful, and I hope this first and well-earned Grand Cross shows it. Congratulations.

C’ree aka Arcia aka Esca has been a stabilizing force ever since he has come to Clan Odan-Urr but more importantly House Hoth where he spent 8 months as its Quaestor. Since his last merit award for Clan activity he created 8 competitions and co-organized 12 with some of those being part of the very successful COU - Battle Formations, a joint event with House Satele Shan.

Along with creating content he also participated in 56 competitions in his own right earning himself 1 Crescent with Diamond Star, 7 Crescents with Ruby Stars, 8 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 6 Crescents with Sapphire Stars and 2 Crescents with Emerald Stars. He was almost able to amass 1478 Clusters of Fire, 766 Clusters of Earth, 13 Clusters of Graphite and 4 Clusters of Ice.

Numbers only do not tell the full story of his impact of House Hoth and the Clan as a whole. Being Aedile of House Hoth when he was hired to take over for the previous Quaestor, Esca immediately reached out to me and the BTL to get the lay of the land and get to know us and our thoughts and ideas for the house. From day one he created and solidified a House summit team that worked hand and hand to plan and get things done.

He not only lead the project to create Solyiat but he encouraged the entire summit team and the house members themselves to help build it. He listened to everyone’s idea and a unified team we created Hoth’s new home!

His leadership skills were nothing I have ever experience in the DJB before he let me create and run with my ideas only stepping in to give advice, help proofread my reports and fictions. He became my mentor and a friend. Esca truly taught me a lot, not only how to be a little more active, but also how you need to go outside your comfort zone and do things you normally wouldn't for the benefit of the Clan and the House but more importantly for yourself.

Before Esca came around I thought I was a good leader, he not only proved me wrong he helped and inspired me to actually become a much better leader that could take his place and help bring House Hoth to the next level. I for one owe Esca so much and for your impressive numbers, your leadership and your never ending hard work to make Hoth one of the best houses in the DJB you more than deserve this Grand Cross of the Dark Side!

When it comes to leadership in the club, dossier statistics do not tell the full story. Esca came to House Hoth and COU at a time of great change and uncertainty for the Clan. Odan-Urr had been an actual Clan for barely a year and collectively we were still trying to figure out how to be a Clan. We had outgrown the lore and institutions that had served as our cradle as an independent house. A bold new direction had been set for the Clan but the subordinate houses needed visions of their own, they needed leadership. Enter Esca. Esca provided a firm and experienced hand that laid the foundation for Hoth’s future success.

As Edgar has detailed, Esca marshaled the talent of the House for the creation of their brand new planet and fictional direction as well as provide a very experienced mentor for the House summit.

This small token is a small payment toward the personal debt I owe Esca for stepping up and being the hero House Hoth needed. Thanks for everything my friend!

Augur Amira Lux has been a consistent, dedicated, and tremendous member of the Dark Brotherhood throughout his career. He has served in a multitude of roles and supported the DB as a whole through gaming and content creation.

His most recent role was as Aedile of House Wren in Clan Vizsla. Amira (from this point forward known as Esca) was key to the development of Clan Vizsla, key to the creation of House Wren, and key to the initial success of our new endeavor. He helped build out our initial planning documents, our wiki pages, and our internal chat planning sessions.

In addition to Esca's four months as Aedile, he has gone almost two years without earning any recognition from the DB. In that time he participated in over 52 competitions, played in 369 gaming events, wrote over 1500 words of fiction, and earned 2 X GN, 2 x SN, 2 x BN, 6 x Diamond Crescents for winning DB club-wide events, 19 additional crescents, 7 x POBs, over 3200 clubers of Fire, over 2100 Clusters of Earth, and 13 Seals from our Vendettas.

Since's Arcia last recognition exactly four years ago, he has amassed the XP necessary for this GC by participating in 47 competitions, 15 Legacy pvp matches, 154 gaming activities, and 3 fictions. In competition awards he has earned: 3 silver novae, 2 diamonds, 2 ruby, 2 amethyst, 6 emerald. Along with that is a whopping 1109 clusters of fire, 1045 clusters of earth, 4 clusters of ice, and 15 Seals of Vision. Last but not least is the 264,940 credits Arcia has earned the clan.
