As the Codex indicates, the Steel Cross is awarded to an individual for their extended service to one’s House or Clan. Such duties include aiding one’s Quaestor or Aedile, as well as being a mentor to others.

Upon the closer of Caliburnus, members were split and placed into the two remaining Houses. Xen was one of the senior members who ended up in Dorimad Sol. Immediately I could tell that he wanted to become and active member. About the same time, one of my battle team leaders stepped down. Appointing him leader of Blades of Chaos, Xen immediately took charge pumping out a battleteam competition, sending out reports and reminding his team of competition deadlines. He even sent his members individual emails to inquire about there status.

Xen has also took it upon himself and worked with Melfeckt, a fairly new journeymen, spending a fair amount of his personal time and training them in the respects of the ACC. He creating a mock battle in a IRC channel and then afterwars made some merited comments and suggestions to help better improvement their writing. Like a master, he helped out Faukes who inquired what he could do to help with his promotion requirements. Xen informed him of some of the many competitions that were out.

I am not only impressed of his great work as Battle Team Leader, he has also completed over 10 exams in only the last couple of months, 70% of them a perfect score of 100 and the remaining above 90%. Under the direction of the Clan Consul, he was asked to create some graphics to help compliment the Clans Nobility Page. In returned he produced 6 beautiful crowns that are honoured to the Clan Summit.

As Quaestor of Dorimad Sol I would like to recommend Xen’Mordin Vismorsus a Steel Cross for all the effort and great work he has done for the Battle Team, Blades of Chaos, and showing his great personal betterment.

I'd like to request a Steel Cross for Xen'Mordin Vismorsus, Quaestor of Scholae Palatinae. During the Vendetta, Xen participated in 13 competitions as well as made himself a near constant presence in IRC. Xen assisted members in matchmaking for the various competitions and encouraged the house through emails and in chat to be active. Xen'Mordin sets the example for the house, and he sets a fine example. For these reasons, I recommend that my Emperor, Xen'Mordin Vismorsus receive a Steel Cross.

I would like to request a Steel Cross for Xen for his efforts in the Horizons feud. He was a constant beacon of inspiration to those who had faltered throughout the event, and encouraged them to continue their hard work. He participated in 13 competitions during Horizons, and remained a constant presence in IRC. He did a fine job leading the House through the trials of Horizons, and continues to do so even now. For these reasons I request Xen'Mordin to receive a Steel Cross.

Xen'Mordin has proven himself to be an excellent leader of the House throughout whole Dark Crusade. He has done tremendous efforts to lead by example and has submitted to 21 events overall, earning 3 Gold Novae, 4 Silver Novae and 3 Bronze Novae. He has also encouraged our members to participate in the Dark Crusade by highlighting interesting events. Without him, we would have been far less successful as the House. Thus, I would like to recommend this Steel Cross as a token of appreciation for his excellent service as the Quaestor of our House.

Idris Adenn (known as Xen from here on out) has achieved a goal that very few members of the Dark Brotherhood have achieved. Like Donitz, Ji, and Raken before him, he has achieved the remarkable feat of seeing a new organization created within the Dark Brotherhood.

In 2018, I decided that a Mandalorian Clan could provide the Dark Brotherhood a new avenue of creativity. Bubba and I began work on a Clan proposal and along the way we would add additional folks to the team (with Bubba going off to be the JST). One of those initial people was Xen. When the Dark Brotherhood looks back on the creation of Vizsla, Xen's name should stand there with the initial creators because he took the reigns of our proposal when real life took a group of us away from the Club.

Through bad timing and travel to the middle east, I was taken away during Vizsla's mandatory proposal period with Grand Master Mav. During my absence, Xen took the role of Clan leader and quickly built out a proposal that far exceeded any ever created in our club (I saw the others, they don't compare). Xen wrote policies, fiction, generated House logos (currently Battle Team Logos, but we all know that is just for now), and worked on every aspect of the 17 page (https://docs.google.com/document/d/14tlay0gW4gxVDMvXuUc83LF2nyZJ4UARMuo7FBWJuX0/edit?usp=sharing) Clan proposal and six page Clan road to war (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1BZECZ5pAgJ0Afx45a6wk_DUWtto2m4QbVgB54xV4OaI/edit?usp=sharing).

Xen, as much as any member of Clan Vizsla is responsible for our creation through dedicated work and effort on over 31 pages of 11 font size documents (Planet, Policies, and Proposal). Xen, I appreciate everything you did for us and look forward to you taking the reigns of greater leadership in our Clan in the days to come.
