Sith Warlord Robert Sadow alias Bob, is one of the long term highly active members of Clan Naga Sadow, who does an impressive and valuable amount of work for his Clan. Along with his work maintaining the CNS Master Student Program as Clan Rollmaster he has also designed competitons for his fellow members and has recently done a lot of work revamping the Black Guard project making it more interesting and relevant to modern members. He also has a calm considered opinion on most Clan related discussions. In addition to this he worked extremily hard in the recent Rite of Supremecy fighting hard in the ACC and also placing first in a fiction event and third in the poetry which played a piviotal role in Naga Sadow winning those events and it’s eventual impressive third place. He is fully deserving of this award. ~Malisane Sadow.

I think Bob is a living legend. He has held every leadership position in CNS/HNS, from Rollmaster to Consul. He's mentored countless of members including myself in the ways of the Dark Brotherhood, and also speaks his mind when an issue arises in his mind or there is something on the table that needs to be discussed. Before he became Clan Rollmaster of CNS, Bob was the Quaestor of Marka Ragnos. Bob taught me the ropes of the job as I was his Aedile, helping him run the house. Although his term was short, he provided a basis for where HMR has been heading fictionally. Bob was the Clan Rollmaster and in charge of the Black Guard, a guard that protects the leadership from any wrong doers. Bob has been making every bit and piece of that unit better than it was before, creating new weapons and training halls for the guard. He also engaged in Operation Wake UP, where he would email the apprentices, novices, acolytes, and protectors, almost every week until they decided to respond to his emails. It woke some of our members up, but some remained quiet even after what we joked as "Bob spammage." During the RoS Bob placed in 3 events, as well as competing in about 10 other events out of the possible 15 events. Which during the that time of 5 weeks to compete in all of those events, is a feat in of itself. During the house feud that I ran several months back, he single handedly earned 47 points out of the Night Hawks' combined score of 110 which to earn that amount of points, he had to participate in every event that I had to run, and get a bare minimum of just the participation points and a few placings. Bob has more than earned the right to be awarded an Amethyst Kukri and I wish this had gone through sooner my old friend. Congrats Bob! ~OT Fremoc Pepoi, Magistrate to the Fist

Bob is awesome, that much is clear to just about everyone in this Clan. I've no doubt that the other reccomendations have highlighted his participation in the recent Rite of Supremacy, where he flung himself into the events, especially the ACC (which as anyone who braved the ACC during the RoS will tell you, was no walk in the park, even if people had the benefit of experience. Bob did not and still held his own.) and his work as Quaestor of HMR and more recently as Rollmaster. In both of these roles, he got stuck in and made the kind of new, changes that keep things fresh, while also leading by example and actually particpating in the day to day doings of the Clan. He's the kind of guy who is always willing to pitch in and help out and when, like me, you're a rookie Quaestor, it's a big comfort to know that he's willing to do that and that he's always got a moment to chat and give you a bit of advice on whatever sticky situation you may encounter. He's pretty much a CNS institution and I hope he likes the way we show our appreciation. Congrats! - Dyrra Skye, HLK QUA Emeritus.

Robert Sadow is known to every member of CNS (and a fair few outside of the Clan) as officially one of the nicest guys in the Brotherhood. He's dedicated, friendly, always willing to listen to questions and offer advice, and balances all this with a fervent desire to improve this Clan and to do everything in his power to assist CNS when he is needed. That has showed itself in his work as Consul (unfortunately cut short due to technological problems) and his swift return to leadership roles once his internet was restored, which displayed his desire to help out in any leadership role he could. As Quaestor, Bob did a great job training his Aedile, Fremoc, for the position and making sure Fremoc knew the ropes; as Clan Rollmaster, he has been doing some sterling work developing the Black Guard and building up the Master Student Program to get new members trained and keep them active. His participation during the RoS was stunning; I believe Bob entered every event, even the ACC (in which he wasn't previously qualified), and his performance in every field was excellent. In the ACC, and despite his worries following the first round, he came out strong in the next two rounds to win four of his six battles, including a stunning defeat over Timeros which was very well deserved. Couple this with his desire to motivate the rest of the Clan and his encouraging emails inciting others to submit to the various events and get their ACC posts in on time, and you have a perfect example of a member who regularly shows their dedication and how much they care about their Clan. Bob is the kind of member that we could use more of; he's an absolute joy to know and work with, and I feel this Amethyst Kukri is just a small token of our appreciation for everything that he has done for CNS. Thanks a lot, Bob- have a drink on me. ~KPN Manji Keibatsu Sadow, Consul Emeritus of Naga Sadow

Back when HNS was a Clan made up of two Houses, in recent history HMR has dominated HLK in terms of the quality of their work and in the sheer amount of activity they've produced. This is due, in no small part, to Kharon Daragon's (bka Bob Sadow) choosing to make his home there. Our Beloved Drunkard has been a driving force in HNS ever since I myself had joined, giving me a great example of how one should be viewed when a member reaches the level of veneration as Bob has. He gives of his time and energy when he has it to spare, without thought of reward or thanks, and even when he is not around, his legacy is such that he is still talked about...in a great way, of course! As one who is striving to make his mark in the hearts and minds of the membership, I am thankful that I have Bob as an example of what it is to give of oneself to the thing one loves, and to thoroughly enjoy one's self doing it. Bob guides the youngest of our fresh recruits, and is respected by the eldest of our veterans; one should be so lucky to gain half of the prestige that he has during his time here. Activity wise, Bob's shining example grows even brighter: in the time since his last Sacramental Award, he has earned no less than 16 Crescents, 14 Seals, including one of Loyalty, two Novae, including a Gold one. He even found time to earn a Legion of the Scholar and serve in both a Rollmaster and Quaestor capacity! Impressive...most impressive, Kharon! Therefore, it is without hesitation and with no reservation that I lend my name to Bob's recommendations to receive an Amethyst Kukri. We thank you for all you've done, Bob, and I'm sure that Fred thanks you, as well. Congratulations! KE Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow (Krath)/AED/House Naga Sadow

Bob, Bob, Bob... what more can one say about the only other man who has been here since the very beginning? It says it all that, aside from Tron himself, Bob is the one person who can stand up and say that, not only does he remember House Naga Sadow, but he was there, on the ground floor, leading—back in 1998! I was only 12. It seems crazy to think how much of his life Bob has put into this House, Clan, now House again. Nostalgia aside, it amazes me how much Bob hasn't just sat around, but continues to breathe as much life into Naga Sadow as he can. I remember a man who played video games. Then I remember a man with a seal. Now I see a man who has turned his hand to writing, and is continuing to get better all the time. (True, lately he's succumbed to the same dual identity crisis that seems to afflict all the Sadow elders, but nobody's perfect. I blame the beer.) For example, in his recent work as Rollmaster, a position that has generally been utilised for any real constructive purpose by only few and far between, where he not strived to revitalise the age old Master-Student relationships, the bonds of friendship that arguably form the lifeblood of much of the club; but in which he simultaneously worked to put life back into the Black Guard, which he managed by working closely with the younger leaders (which, in respect to Bob, could be said to apply to all of us), organising the rolling quarterly competitions. We may now be a House, but his work as Rollmaster continues to live on, with his successor, Malisane, together with Macron and the Battleteam Leaders currently working to find new ways to carry on the quarterly cycle. But it's not just what he does "formally". It's who he is. And who he is is what keeps many people here. Bob is one of those people who symbolises what the Dark Brotherhood is about. He's not here for personal gain, he's not here for awards, he's not here for promotions, he's not here for the countless other immaterial trinkets that he could have picked up along the way: no. He's here for the members, and always has been. Where these days I so often myself feel at a certain "distance" from the younger members, feeling like one of the crusty old timers, I have never, never been able to think about about Bob. He's got a youthful energy and a desire to engage with all members, not just from his own generation (were that the case, he'd be in a cottage only chatting to the ones with false teeth and grey hairs), but also all of the youngsters, the ones who form the future of not just our house, but the whole club. Bob represents something important, and that, more than anything that can be quantified in words or numbers, is his greatest gift to the Dark Brotherhood as a whole. Bob symbolises community. He symbolises what all members should strive for. Not medals, not trinkets, but friendship. Family. Whatever we give him, I'm sure he'll feel he doesn't deserve it. Whatever we give him, I'm sure it'll never really be able to represent what his efforts have meant, do mean, and will continue to mean. Nonetheless, while a picture on a website will never be enough, if nothing else this is our opportunity to say: thank you. Congrats, Bob. You deserve it. Xanos Zorrixor, Darth Vexatus

Bob, aka Kharon Daragon, aka Robert Daragon Sadow is exactly what makes this club shine and a good place to be. I'm not going to enumerate his many vendetta and War events here as my colleagues above have done so already. Rather, I'd like to point out the overall picture. Bob was the first person to welcome me into the DB back in early '05. Even back then I knew he was something special. Without him, I would not be here today leading Naga Sadow, or at any other point. Bob is a special guy (no pun intended.) even when not in an official leadership position he continues to lead. He's always there asking to help, fixing things, cooking up great fictional enhancement ideas, and making the new folks feel at home.Bob loves this place and his heart has been in it since the earliest days. If you consider the things he has contributed over his immensely long time here, the overall picture is staggering. Can I count the number of positions he has held in Naga Sadow? I can't. Multiple times of service across virtually every position. And please consider this: every one of the people that has come though CNS/HNS has felt his influence in a positive manner and that has enriched this entire club over many years. A large part of our identity as a House came from his brain even before some of us whippersnappers got here. This club would not be the same without him. Macron Goura Sadow, HNS QUA, Son of Sadow

Bobert...the hell hasn't he been over the last two years? After Ashia resigned from Consul, he quickly took up the mantle, pwning so incredibly that I felt his work even outside of the Clan. As a Docent he has served Aabsdu and myself loyally for over a year as an Eclectic Pedagogue and Docent, earning himself a Service degree for his works and dedication. Outside of this however is where his work really shines in my eyes. As Proconsul there were different men I looked towards for guidance and council. Bob was one of those men. There are forms and documents on "when a leader should step down", but Bob knew this way before hand and stepped down as Consul 6 months back before it got to himself and the Clan. Since then, he has served us as Quaestor of Marka Ragnos and later as Clan Rollmaster. What amazes me is his way of knowing what the Clan needs and moving into that position with such professionalism and integrity. His work with the Black Guard alone is something to marvel at, as he constantly emailed Manji and I with updated proposals, policies, and works. Among these are countless wiki articles, member administration, a new system that improvises a two month rotation on all summit members and their Black Guard...I could go on. When I took on the position of Headmaster, my heart never left Naga Sadow. Nor did I forget about those that were kindest to me when I was a stranger in the Clan. With his recent return from exile (REAL LIFE TROUBLZ), I knew that we had to get him rewarded. Though Manji and I are not on the summit anymore, I felt this was a priority that could no longer be set on the back burner. For his ability to see into a problem and be the solution, I'm humbly recommending that Robert Sadow be awarded the Amethyst Kuri as a token of Naga Sadow's appreciation. Congratulations. ~Taigikori Aybara Dupar; Headmaster of the Brotherhood
