Battlelord Raiju Kang
To those unfamiliar with the Nautolan species, Raiju Kang must appear as a half-breed between a man and a squid. Standing just slightly shy of six feet, the amphibious humanoid has large black fish-like eyes dominating his face above a sharp pointed nose directly below them and a strong jawline exhibiting his humanoid features. Mottled green colors the Nautolan's smooth, rubbery skin and instead of sporting hair upon his crown like most humanoids, flowing off the back of his head Raiju has ten remaining of his original fourteen head-tresses - each decorated with simple copper rings and hang down his back freely moving about with his own movement.
Distinguishing Marks:
- Left Hand: From his fingertips to an inch above his wrist, Raiju's left hand has been completely discolored black like charcoal.
- Tattoos: Strictly using black ink only, Raiju has covered his legs in a spiraling pattern from midway up his thighs at two different heights for each leg. The pattern creeps all the way down to his ankles where they trail off, again at different heights, however; it has been stylized to depict Qel-Droma through his transition from Jedi to Sith while encompassing individual tattoos the Nautolan has received over the years; his family emblem and homages to Nautolan gods of War, Wisdom, & Courage.
- In addition: Raiju has an old Sith emblem branded on his right wrist, typically kept covered with a leather wrapping.
Raiju's Rigged Chance Cube
The Chance Cube is a small six-sided cube that is easily tossed. It is used in games of chance, where the side of the dice facing up after a toss represents some resultant outcome.
Dark Summit Ring
The Dark Summit Ring is an ornate band bearing the emblem of the Dark Brotherhood. The presence of the Force can be felt faintly within the material.

Bacta Injector Augment
Dark Armor is equipped with a set of limited bacta injectors. This augment enables Raiju Kang to deliver a shot of bacta on demand in order to recover from minor injuries, but adds encumbrance when compared to typical Dark Armor.
Shock Resistance
Dark Armor has been altered for increased resistance to electrical discharges at the expense of the mobility normally attributed to Dark Armor.
Centralized HUD
Dark Armor comes equipped with a specialized HUD layout compared to other Dark Armor setups. All prevalent information is displayed around the center of Raiju Kang's view range, for ease of use while keeping the peripheral view unobstructed.
Urban Camo
Dark Armor has been designed with an urban scheme camouflage. Each component of the armor has been applied with a mingled pattern of gray tones to better blend with an urban environment.

Electric Defense Grid
Kinks has been fitted with an electric defense grid on its outer shell that acts as a self-defense mechanism, and when active this BB Unit Astromech Droid will give a protective shock to anyone who makes direct contact. This shock will temporarily incapacitate the droid as well for several seconds, as it reboots its own system in reaction to the power fluctuations.
Splash Of Color
Kinks makes a mark that is immediately apparent upon first setting eyes upon it. Looking like the victim of an explosion of color, Kinks is covered in multi-hued designs and patterns utilizing as many variations as possible. While appearing to be random upon first glance, there is a certain uniformity to the chaotic display of the artist.
Thermal Detonator
The Thermal Detonator is an extremely lethal palm-sized spherical grenade which can atomize any material within its fixed blast radius. Once activated, it can only be turned off by whoever turned it on.

Electronic Warfare Suite
YT-2400 Light Freighter has been retrofit with an extensive electronic warfare suite in the vessel's lounge area. The modifications include: encrypted holonet feeds, broad spectrum receivers for communications interception, high power signal jammers and dedicated computers for breaking enemy encryption. These modifications are highly illegal and difficult to conceal should any military or law enforcement officials board YT-2400 Light Freighter for inspection. The electronic warfare suite is also a huge drain on the vessel's available power requiring full or partial shutdowns of other subsystems such as weapons, shields or other modifications while in operation.

The Hidden Blade Bracer features a slender and sharp stiletto blade that is intended for quick, low-profile kills. The blade's defining feature is its ability to retract into the simple hide-bracer for concealment. While perfect for penetrating armor at the weak points, the blade is less durable than the common vibrodagger and is designed for swift stabbing motions rather than slashing.
Breakdown
Hidden Blade Bracer can be broken down into smaller pieces by detaching or unfastening various larger segments from one another. That allows this Hidden Blade Bracer to be more easily carried, but reassembly of the weapon can take a considerable amount of time, and even after built retains a slight weakness at every connection point relative to a solid one-piece weapon.
Sharpened Edge
Hidden Blade Bracer has had its blade honed and sharpened to maximize cutting power, making it easier for Raiju Kang to push and cut directly into different materials that it comes in contact with. This perfectly straight, sharp blade, has limited friction on contact making it far more difficult to wield as it makes contact with objects in combat.

Hidden Blade Bracer has been coated with a poison that can interfere with the body’s motor functions by targeting the muscles and nervous system. The affects can vary from the numbing, paralysis, or slowing of limbs to halting breathing and inducing seizures or sleep. The poison triggers on contact with the skin or bloodstream, with the most severe symptoms manifesting in the immediate area of the wound. Requires the "Poison Weapons Feat" on the Character Sheets to be effective in combat.

Sometimes situations require more than bravo and a lightsaber; sometimes they even require more than quick wit and an escape plan. That's where possessing a talented tongue has done more for Raiju Kang than just making him popular with the ladies. When much of the known galaxy wants you dead or in chains, having the ability to see the logical benefit for both parties or in becoming "frienemies" can keep a Nautolan alive to see his next meal. Yet, "no take-backies" means nothing when you have your fingers cross...it's a shame more people don't share this belief. Alas, some deals are meant to be broken (even planned for from their conception) if they don't keep the balance of power in Raiju's favour but one can be sure that the Nautolan will soon be making another deal to cover his tracks.
It is hard to sell spice and deal with criminals without partaking in a little of it yourself, or at least this is what Raiju Kang discovered on the streets of Nar Shaddaa. Drinking, gambling, paying for sex and the frequent narcotics were all a heavy part of the Nautolan's teen and young adult years, but stopped being an occupational hazard and became habit after joining the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. These actions have lead directly to his various debts around the organization, which either have left him with a death mark from or have a tendency to often be called in for "favours" if the collectors are in a particularly good mood - or desire something from Raiju. Yet, for years Raiju struggled with cleaning up his habits due to his changing morality and now as he struggles with his place in the galaxy he also has to figure out if he can conquer these old habits.
The reputation of Raiju Kang has been known to precede him. Often tales of unbelievable acts have spread across Dark Brotherhood space, which may have a grain of truth to them as he is uncharacteristically lucky; but more likely have been embellished by Raiju's own tongue. Whether it is from a daring, or lucky escape or a cunning gamble of words; the legend of Raiju's actions is just as strong as the knowledge of his selfish nature, his dishonesty, and his mercurial madness.
Raiju Kang is extremely cocksure and headstrong. Possessing a keen wit and exceptional level of intelligence, Raiju Kang will often use his superior intellect to humiliate lesser minds. Basically, he is kind of a jerk, and that can sometimes get Raiju Kang in a bit of trouble.
Sculpted by a history of violence, Raiju is known to be resourceful, cunning, and erratic in his combat style and usage of the Force. A former Obelisk practitioner, who survived running the gauntlet as a Sith journeymen in Tarentum, a war hero of the Jedi from Odan-Urr, and trained by several of the Brotherhood's strongest elders; Raiju had been forged as a weapon to use every bit of his background to his advantage. He has no problem switching between the defensive, reserved tactics of the Jedi to a more aggressive stance of his Sith upbringing. Everything is on the table, but unfortunately, this unpredictable nature often leaves his comrades in arms struggling to follow his lead into combat and has bred mistrust in the Nautolan's leadership more than once.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Raiju Kang? Raiju Kang doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Raiju Kang, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Raiju Kang isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Raiju Kang won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Raiju Kang will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
