I suppose I could write a load of old codswallop here about why Lucy should get this, that and the other. I could, and I will! I believe Lucy is deserving of a Steel Cross. In the time he has spent in Arcona, Lucy has been a strong contributor. Coming across from CSP where he served time as an AED and a QUA, he humbly took on the role of BTL in Galeres, taking off from where Juda left. He has run competitions, fiddled with the Battleteam’s wiki page. He kept in communication with his team. A team I would describe as one of the best in Arcona, second only to Soulfire. He has done everything expected of him diligently. Not only has Lucy been working hard as a BTL, (Doing the work of an Aedile in other clans.) he has also served as a wiki staff member, helping me out with article changes and always there to help his fellow Arconans with their problems on the wiki. The unfortunate mishap of Lucy’s computer going haywire stopped him competing in the RoS; something that cost him dearly, yet he cared enough about our efforts to send emails out when he could, exhorting our members to work hard and have fun in the vendetta. However, for all of his efforts before the RoS and the leadership he showed during it, I would like to reward Luciferus a Steel Cross. Congratulations Lucy, you deserve it.
Sanguinius Tsucyra – Quaestor of House Galeres

Luciferus hasn’t had it easy. He’s come across from CSP – our arch rivals and entered into an incredibly cliquey summit who’s idiosyncratic artistan’esque leadership style is never easy to adapt to for outsiders, yet he’s braved through this to become a valued member of the team who, despite adversity with a craptastic Computer in RL, has managed to keep in contact both with his summit and his members and get back on his feet, running regular competitions, producing prompt reports, and also volunteering to spearhead a massive overhaul of Arcona’s Wiki articles: something I’ve been trying to get organised since I took PCON two years ago, and have only just really started making headway with. Well done on surviving this long, Scy, and welcome back to Arcona; you’re doing a damn good job.
Sashar Arconae

Dek Rott has a most impressive log of activity since last he was recognized. With 15 competitions organized, 40 participated in, he has certainly show how to be an active member. This activity has earned him 1 Amethyst Star, 1 Sapphire, 1 Emerald, and 1 Topaz, alongside 1 CF, 9 CI, 34 CE.

Beyond this however, Dek has taken major initiative. Several months ago he came to me of his own volition about the state of the entire CSP wiki category. The wiki has always been a hard spot to hit, and I was most grateful to see someone step up willing to help. He has re-written and cleaned up large sections of the main page, and the new linking detailed subpages. Beyond this he has also given some stellar ideas on bettering the clans layout and structure for the military, increasing its accessibility. He is also the one who suggested changing the Clan Title from Children of Palpatine to Legacy of Palpatine, a change that has been met with a good deal of enthusiasm.

For his continued excellent service, I recommend he be awarded this Steel Cross. Congrats Dek!

Members of the Appeals Panel generally serve for a period of six months. I've chosen to ignore that term limit for this group of Appeals Panel members because I truly enjoyed working with each of them and did not want to lose their contributions to my team. As a result, the current Appeals Panel members have served for over a year.

There is a misconception that the Appeals Panel is simply an "on call" position. That is, people think that this is a position that people sit in and don't have to do anything unless there is an actual appeal. That perception is incorrect, at least during my time as Justicar. I have endeavored to use the members of the Appeals Panel more as magistrates that assist me with the ongoing development of the Chamber of Justice. To that end, the Appeals Panel members have helped me with projects, given me important feedback, and been part of a team effort over the last year.

Dek, in particular, has taken over as the CoJ's Wikimaster. He was eager to volunteer to pick up the task of updating all of the CoJ Wiki case files. The Wiki had been outdated for some time and we had fallen behind on case files due to the sheer amount of cases we were dealing with. Dek completed the important task of turning the Justicar opinions into public records of the trials. Most impressive was that, after the first round of Wiki work, Dek took the initiative to wikify any additional cases that were published. Initiative is so hard to find in the DB, and I truly appreciated his taking the task in hand and getting it done without my prompting. To be specific, Dek has completed the "Case History" page for the most recent four trials. He has taken those case decisions and converted them to the wiki for preservation, He also picked out several "points of interest" that make the individual cases unique and important to the DB.

In addition, Dek has been ever helpful in the Covenant revision process. He had questions in particular about the Appeals panel process, who is included in that process, when an appeal can be taken from an executive penalty, and the nature of dossier notes on restarted dossiers. His comments helped to clarify and make the Covenant that much better.

I have been grateful to have Dek on my staff and can only thank him through this small effect. I hope to work with him again in the future.

Thank you,

Jac

It's been great to see Dek fly back into brotherhood activity during the Great Jedi War. Dek has entered 29 competitions since his last promotion, earning a diamond crescent, 3 amethyst and 1 emerald. Dek has also amassed significant gaming activity, with 6 pendants of blood and 60 clusters of fire to his name since last recognition.

During the recent Great Jedi War, Dek took it upon himself to get the clan run-on started while I was on holiday. Dek did a fantastic job of making sure everyone's character sheet snapshots were in order, getting the post 1 into the correct format on the forums, planning the story and getting a great opening out which was easy to build from.

For his activity numbers, and for stepping up to lead the run-on when the clan needed him, I'm happy to award Dek a steel cross. Congratulations!
