Recently, a team of committed individuals worked together on the Clan Scholae Palatinae Dominion Project in an attempt to flesh out the Cocytus System - home of our Clan. The document spans over forty five pages of straight text - pure content - that uncovers a rich, detailed history for each of our four planets: Antenora, Caina, Judecca and Ptolomea. In addition to in-depth historical content, the document covers planet statistics, lunar statistics, planet geography, lunar geography, continents, islands, island chains, cities, landmarks, military outlook and political outlook. All in all, it provides an exceptional, fictional base for the members of Clan Scholae Palatinae to build from as they continue to advance their individual plots, and the plot of the Brotherhood and the Clan. Many thanks are necessary for all whom contributed to this project.

Syphoc Rilkel Kaeth assisted our Project Leader by reviewing the initial rough drafts of the planets, then reviewing the completed project proposal. In his efforts, he discovered countless grammatical errors and provided crucial feedback to bring about the final document approved by the Grand Master and his staff. We appreciate the countless hours Rilkel worked on this document... as our Project Leader wrote with fire, Rilkel was kind enough to edit with ice.

Syphoc heeded the call for leaders when Clan Plagueis called. Not only did he provide an immaculate application, but he infused energy and stability into his position immediately. Amongst his duties as an Aedile he provides regular reports, is available on the Forums/IRC, works with Cipher to develop new competitions and - most importantly - serves as the sound board for new Clan initiatives. Amongst the tasks he has helped complete were the creation of our Clan Identity (The Ascendant Clan) and the fictional direction we will be taking (stratocracy). In addition, he also reviews his House roster for promotions/awards each week and delivers a status report, too. He does a number of 'small' things which help create a sense of stability and 'forward' motion in House Exar Kun. He also is responsible for sending a myriad of welcome e-mails to new Apprentices and has seen instant success with several Apprentices quickly ascending the ranks to Protector.

For his work, I believe he has earned this Dark Cross for his leadership service.

Medal Request: Dark Cross KP Syphoc Rilkel Kaeth (6677)

It has been an interesting month for my young, upstart Quaestor of House Exar Kun. With the resignation of his predecessor, he was thrust into a foreign surrounding. One that I believe he showed considerable maturity and success in.

As an Aedile, Syphoc assisted and aided his Quaestor, but he also helped me with the creation of trivia questions (2 Legion of the Scholar), the playbook for the clan outline (for Qtr 2), and where HEK was going with its immediate and long-term future. One such task was assuming the command of the HEK development team. His first decision was to permanently move HEK to the Clan HQ upon Kapsina; he turned this movement into a House competition, allowing his house to explore this unique turn of events. From there he crafted a plan of action to develop new HEK facilities which includes outlines for a barracks, armory, cantina, hospital, etc. His outline maps out the next step in his House's advancement.

His next challenge, or opportunity for growth, was the process of tracking down and hiring his own Aedile. Despite my best efforts to steer him in one direction, he surprised me by digging up an older, experienced member to act as his aide. Already the pair has shown considerable strides as not one, but four (FOUR!) of their new recruits have climbed to Protector or above in less than a month. A great sign for any Quaestor intent on rebuilding his house!

Good work, Rilkel. Keep up the efforts!
