Since Archangel has joined my staff, he has completed 14 warbanners and 37 miscellaneous items, all of which were created for the warbanner emblem selector. This project was meant to be almost a two month project, which Arch completed and went above and beyond the call by creating 37 items, more than the 20 requested. Since his promotion, he completed 17 of the items and 12 warbanners. Arch has been a great asset to the Herald's Staff and he deserves to be acknowledged for it. For that, I would like to award his first Steel Cross. Thank you for your fine work and dedication!

Archangel Palpatine, an unstoppable force so they say, has more than backed that up recently, going on an absolute binge when it comes to activity. He has written 6309 words of fiction, 965 run on words, passed 1 Shadow Academy course, graded 49 Shadow Academy courses, and participated in 24 competitions! More importantly, 17 of those competitions were for the big Clan event ‘Midnight’, which was the second highest tally for House Excidium and the fourth highest tally Clan wide. As a result, he played a key role in leading by example for House Excidium, which is the absolute best thing to see from someone not in any official position. During these efforts, he earned a Crescent with Diamond star, Crescent with Ruby star, 4 Crescent with Amethyst stars, 4 Crescent with Sapphire stars, 4 Crescent with Emerald Stars, 15 Clusters of Ice, 3 Clusters of Graphite, 5 Scrolls of Foundation, and a Legion of Scholar.

In addition, Archangel has been of great help to me in Excidium’s efforts to define our new fleet. He was one of the key participants from the very beginning, and became one of the original authors of a 16 page ‘Excidium Order of Battle’ that was submitted to the Clan Summit in December to help inform Fleet purchases for the House. That wasn’t accepted as is, and thankfully he was willing to help revamp Excidium Fleet’s fictional story, create a new purpose for the ships and their interactions, helped create its cosmetics look, and created a list of various ports for the Fleet. This was a sustained effort over three months that involved a great deal of discussion. Even more awesome, when it came time to write a wiki, he assisted Excidium in writing the majority of its ‘Fleet’ section. In addition, he co-authored a 12 page ‘CSP Alternate Order of Battle’ for consideration by the Clan.

As Excidium’s Quaestor, I fear I can’t properly express my gratitude towards his crucial additions to Excidium’s future, but I can recommend him for a Grand Cross. Fleet and wiki work requires a lot of detailed thought and it doesn’t get as much attention as it should. In addition to his amazing project work his powerhouse of activity as of late are impressive, especially his dominance in the ‘Midnight’ campaign. This was a huge Clan event and the big man definitely carried a lot of weight. Given all of the above, I believe he has earned this award. Therefore, I am pleased to recommend that Archangel Palpatine be awarded a Steel Cross with the deepest gratitude I can muster.

Having recently returned to the Clan he carries the name of, Archangel wasted no time jumping back into the fun and action. He has made his presence known in Discord chat, quietly but eagering offering advice and encouragement to Clan members and Pro Bowl team mates alike. Archangel exemplified the ideal leadership of an Equite without a formal position: leading by encouragement.

But Archangel also led by example. Since his last recognition, he has participated in a total of 34 competitions. Of these, he completed 25 out of 25 possible events for the Plagueis Pro Bowl, an impressive feat! He earned 177 points for his team and a Top 10 placement in the event. For his efforts he has also garnered a significant number of crescents: 3 Ruby, 2 Amethyst, 5 Sapphire, and 4 Topaz. His participation has also earned him 149 Clusters of Fire, 152 Clusters of Earth and 2 Pendants of Blood across 1 PvP and 22 PvE activities; 7,374 and 18 Clusters of Ice written across 7 fiction activities, and 11 Clusters of Graphite for artistic pursuits. Archangel also successfully completed 2 Shadow Academy courses.

Scholae Palatinae is extremely fortunate to have Archangel with us. He is such a fantastic member of our community, and he contributed in a major way to recent events. Congratulations on a well earned award!

Archangel has continued to remain a welcome, reliable, and encouraging member of Clan Scholae Palatinae and its summit over the last 3 months. He's a member who is always ready to participate as much as real life demands will allow, and he's always ready to lend a hand or encourage others to do the same. And he's a Quaestor who maintains reliable and consistent group and one-on-one contact with his members via email and Discord, engages with his members periodically via House-level competitions, and who is always eager to lend advice or support to Summit activities, such as contributions to our Clan competition planning schedule and lore development.

Since their last recognition in January 2022, Archangel has organized 5 competitions and completed 27 competitions, resulting in 2 Crescents with Ruby Star, 3 Crescents with Emerald Star, and 2 Crescents with Topaz Star and 1 Legion of the Scholar. He has also written 2,369 words of fiction across 2 activities resulting in 9 Clusters of Ice!

Archangel continues to exemplify the ideals of an Equite through his consistent activity and engagement, and his encouraging and respectful disposition in the Clan. We are lucky to have him as a leader and member of Scholae Palatinae, and I personally look forward to seeing all of the amazing things he will accomplish going forward. Congratulations on this achievement, Archangel.
