Where do I begin? Kazarelth is one of my very good friends in the Brotherhood, and I think part of that is due to his devotion to House Cestus. After a run as Aedile in Cestus and as BTL for the Hands of Malice, Kazarelth was chosen to be House Cestus's Quaestor at a time in which the house was incredibly inactive. A run-on started earlier was unfinished, and the group itself was very small. It was a very big task for Kazarelth to undertake to revive Cestus.

After choosing me to be his Aedile, Kazarelth brought a new sense of life into the house. Beginning with smaller competitions, he then recommended a joint competition with House Gladius, complete with a run-on, fiction events, ACC, and trivia. For a long time, we didn't think the project would get off the ground, but with Kazarelth's determination, leadership, and dedication, he helped to create the competition "Shattered Tears," which was a major success. It brought several members of Gladius and Cestus together to make an excellent storyline as well as a good deal of participation.

Even with a busy schedule, Kazarelth was able to finish his tenure as Quaestor on a high note, with a decent amount of participation in the GJW given his limited amount of time he could give to the Brotherhood. I am very sad to see him leave the position, but I know he has left me some very big shoes to fill. Kazarelth should be proud to receive this medal because he's earned it; reviving a house and making it active once more is not child's work. It takes a lot of patience, a lot of trial and error, and a hell of a lot of perseverance. And I, as well as everyone in Cestus, am very grateful for it.
