Xathia successfully served as Quaestor of the House Galeres for five months during which time she wrote nine insightful and informative reports, personally ran five successful competitions while overseeing her subordinates run many others. She led her house through fully half of the 9th Great Jedi War, a war in which her house would prove pivotal to Arcona’s gaming victories and ultimately its first place finish, before she became a casualty of that elusive demon known as real life. Her leadership laid the groundwork for her house and clan’s eventual victory and in addition she managed to participate in the events Battlefield Objectives and ACC 1v1 in a war where first and third place are separated by less than sixty points. This medal is well deserved and is a token of our undying appreciation.

For compiling a truly excellent listing of the Force Powers, and the variables at work in determining the effectiveness of each.

Congratulations, Xathia, on a very well-earneed reward.

Saskia has been an unsung hero in Clan Arcona of late, quietly working away at the various Summit projects that she has volunteered on. Most recently, she completed an entire wiki article regarding a feud that we'd never found the time to write up, and has helped out in the mentorship process as we've shifted to the new ACC. She was a Beta competitor there, and aided a few of our members in creating their character sheets. She's been an integral part of our ACC team in general, proofreading and helping in match analysis throughout Fading Light, where she's distinguished herself as a more-than-capable combatant.

Saskia is easily one of our most consistent, stable veterans, and instrumental in her role as a mid-level Equite role model and inspiration for those aspiring to her status. Recently, she mentored a promising new member, Andraste Vivendi, to Jedi Hunter. On top of this, she's been competing in just about every competition available to her, and has made her mark in all of them. Her activity has been nothing short of stellar, and I hope that this medal can serve as a token of her Summit's enormous appreciation.

Congrats, Saskia!

Since her promotion to Epis, Saskia has only continued to impress me with her levels of activity. Firstly, she has continued to act as my Battleteam Sergeant, helping me by proofing my reports and often having her own comments to add, as well.

Additionally, she was a major contributor to both the Operation: Revival run-on for House Galeres, where she managed 5 excellent posts, and its sequel, the clan-wide Operation: Resurgence, where she added an additional 3 posts. On top of that, her contribution in the Eleventh Great Jedi War, where she completed Phase 2 Gaming and provided key last minute proofing for my own Battleplan team, helping us to take 6th place.

Congrats, Krissi! Battleteam Leader of Soulfire Strike Team Andrelious

I am honoured to be recommending Saskia for this Antiean Cross, she has been a hard working and dedicated individual and part of the House. Continuing to progress herself and others around her with no thought of reward at all.

Since she joined the team as a Sergeant she continued to work with Mark in helping expand and continue to progress the team. They have been a beacon of activity with communication and ideas continuing to bounce around on a daily basis. Saskia helping Mark with anything that he needs this can be from proofreading to throwing out general knowledge ideas, making sure that she supports him in the role given to her.

For all of her efforts and hard work recently I am honoured to be rewarding Saskia with this Antiean Cross. Keep up the good work and well done on everything you have achieved so far, keep working hard in the future.

Xathia has been a busy member of Scholae Palatinae lately. Besides being ever-present on Discord, she has found the time to participate in eight competitions and complete a Shadow Academy course since her last award. Three of those were fiction activities that totaled over 3,500 words earning seven clusters of ice.

Furthermore, she took the lead on a project to set up our clan RP events that many members are looking forward to. Xathia has taken it upon herself to liaise with the Exarch to make sure the systems are all in place and functioning correctly, and she has also volunteered to DM the RP sessions themselves. With the first session only a few days away, she has been busy leading test sessions to make sure everything will run smoothly on day one.

In recognition of all the work that has gone into setting things up, I'm proud to award Xathia an Anteian Cross. Congrats, and thank you for your efforts!

Kamjin recommended Xathia to me as a point of contact in CSP and I’m very glad he did. Her passion for expanding roleplaying’s place in the Brotherhood was immediately apparent. Although clan-led RPs had been chugging along for some time, that activity was almost entirely limited to Arcona, Odan-Urr, and Taldryan. Xathia’s most visible contribution to the Exarch office was serving as an RP organizer and ambassador to Scholae, efforts which have so far led to 7 members submitting in excess of 30,000 words of content.

The easy option would have been for Xathia to simply look at what other clans were doing, copy it, and hope for the best. That is not her way. Xathia dedicated several hours to a one-on-one test scenario with Raleien on CSP’s server, used lessons learned to develop a plan for taking it clan wide, and developed documentation on what that would look like.

I brought Xathia into the Exarch working group early on to get feedback from her experiences with CSP and she proved invaluable. Most of our established “DMs” did not actually come from a tabletop background, so Xathia’s perspective on how to set things up and how organizers should be compensated continues to inform my decision making as the RP system begins to mature.

Xathia also did most of the working group’s research into the feasibility of synchronous, video-based sessions to emulate the tabletop experience. This included the aforementioned test session and digging into available voice transcription software, which itself involved researching potential recording, logging, and export functions for Discord. Although we ultimately did not implement a system from “approved” virtual tabletop sessions, the fact that I was able to even have intelligent, fact-based discussions about it with the Grand Master and the Dark Council is largely due to Xathia’s legwork.
