Rayne is a cornerstone of the antics that go on in Clan Scholae Palatinae. Whether it be the traditional burning of pants, arson in general, or just contributing to the chaos, Rayne is one of the most present members of our community. Her continued engagement in Discord chat is but a beginning of the effect she has on the Clan. On top of her regular commitment to gaming, participation in clan events, competitions, and presence in Discord, Rayne has recently taken up assisting in some behind the scenes projects.
One such project has been the ongoing clean up of the Clan’s Wiki. During this project, Rayne has taken a hands-on approach by relocating more than 25 articles to their appropriate categories, creating an artifact article of one of CSP’s relics, updated the Clans templates. While there is still much work to do on this project, the effort she has already put in has earned her Wikipedian of the month. I am sure there will be more of that to come! Beyond updating pages, Rayne has also been instrumental in developing the roadmap for many future Wiki updates, many of which are already in the works as the Clan rebuilds the Caperion System after the Dark Times Event and the GJW.
Beyond the work she’s poured into the Clan wiki, Rayne takes a special place in our clan acting as a beacon of fun and positivity. She is always there to dump gasoline on the fires of our craziness. This contribution is hard to measure, but the entire Clan can agree that having her around greatly contributes to the fun atmosphere we have. Rayne is our “offical” sign holder and is always there to remind us that we are in a pants-free zone or to put out the most important sign of all #beatkam. To put it plainly, Clan Scholae Palatinae is the way it is because we have Rayne. We would not have it any other way.
Rayne has continually shown her dedication to the Clan through her activity and continued impact on the community. Her presence is so impactful that when the judges of the Co-op fiction in the Great Jedi War saw the group that was participating (Rayne, Kamjin, and Myself) they knew they were in for a real ride! The humor and lightheartedness she brings to the table carried that piece to winning 1st place and earning a Gold Nova. It is that humor and lightheartedness which makes Rayne so crucial to the success of the Clan. We are so privileged to have her as a member and the award of a Sapphire Blade is the least we can do to show our thanks.
