Korroth is one of those members who can be very difficult to reward. Not because he needs prodding to be active; to the contrary, Korroth is active in so many different aspects of the Brotherhood that it's hard to keep track of just how many things he's done since his last award for activity. Since then he's participated in 30 competitions, including all 8 in our recent Clan event, Battle Formations. In fact, Korroth placed in several of the sub-competitions and was the individual winner of the entire event. Winning comps seems to be a second job for him: Korroth's taken home 19 Crescents, including 3 with Diamond Stars, 4 with Ruby Stars, and 6 with Amethyst Stars.

And he's not a single-issue member, either. For his writing, he's earned 15 Clusters of Ice. For his art, he's won 3 Clusters of Graphite. For gaming, he's taken home 98 Clusters of Fire and 30 Clusters of Earth. He's even been awarded a Dark Side Scroll for authoring the Wiki Article of the Month for August.

Even more remarkable is his attitude. If Clan leadership didn't announce his various achievements in reports, nobody would know about them. Korroth isn't the type to brag or boast; instead, his activity on Telegram and e-mail is based entirely around building up other members in his unit. His eagerness to pitch in has won him the undying love of several DC members and their staff (and a small trove of merit awards), as he's often the first to answer the call for wiki work, which he completes quickly and flawlessly.

Korroth is one of Satele Shan's finest members, and a model for everyone in the Brotherhood to follow. I am delighted to recommend him for a Steel Cross.

Additional reasons

I have known Korroth for a long time, but speaking of his recent achievements, Korroth has floored all of us in his showing at the Battle Formations event. Being the individual winner of the event, Korroth himself managed to place in several of the competitions while participating in all of them. Unlike our previous events, this was particularly challenging, given the competitive nature of a House vs House format in an event.

Korroth has been a jack of all trades for the Disciples of Baas. From working on the wiki, to gaming, fiction, and graphics Korroth has been on of our most active members. He has also participated in Clan Homecoming event and the House v House event. He has also consistently placed in the last several competitions he has participated in, including the top spot in the House v House event.

It is my honor to recommend Ranger Korroth for a Steel Cross

Among our members of House Satele Shan, Korroth is among our most talented and hard-working individuals. He's of constant assistance on the wiki on a number of Articles (Arx, DJB guides, NPC Guidelines, and image management among other things,) as well as being a paragon of activity that doesn't settle for bare minimum submissions. Since his last recognition, Korroth has participated in 64 competitions, earning placements in the majority for a total of 43 crescents. He's also been one of our most active artists, earning 58 clusters of graphite for works that are often seen on the wiki. In addition to this, he's been at the forefront of our fiction activities, earning 16 clusters of ice and participating in three ACC battles (as well as having judged the same amount as an ACC Judge.) Korroth has also earnied himself a Dark Side Scroll for a featured article, six Scrolls of Foundation for SA-related efforts and a Seal of Loyalty. He's also earned himself a Dark Savant in Tactics on finishing yet another course in the SA.

For these reasons, I would like to commend Korroth on behalf of House Satele Shan for his efforts, and award him with a Steel Cross. Congratulations!

Korroth has been a valuable member to House Satele Shan and an asset to Garza's Pathfinders. His numbers since his last award in March speaks volumes to his drive to continue inspiring activity and ways to help improve the House. Not just stopping at doing the competitions he also gets his hands dirty with the wiki and the ACC. It's the small intangibles that make Korroth a valued member of Satele Shan. Thanks for everything!

I'm just going to keep feeding Korroth praise and awards until he finally decides to be my Magistrate. Until then, I'll just have to settle for rewarding him for his stellar contributions to the back end administration of Voice Staff projects and documentation.

As an auxiliary member of the Voice Staff, Korroth was instrumentalist in setting up and creating the Wikipedia coding and formatting for Project Arx. His templates, outline, and hyperlinking helped make the article complete-upon-launch, with only minor cosmetic tweaks needed. This allowed the Voice Team to focus on the creative content of the article, and ultimately delivered a stronger final product for the Brotherhood.

Beyond that, Korroth took over my Fiction Studies project as the point-person and owned the recently completed (and now live) Fiction Studies exam. This involved writing out the majority of the Wikipeda article (https://wiki.darkjedibrotherhood.com/view/Fiction), and then creating questions that pulled from it. The work that went into making this exam will serve as a primer for new and veteran members looking to understand how fiction competitions are run, organized, and graded in the DJB, for years to come. It helps the Writing Department in the SA grow stronger as a resource for members to learn about our systems. This was all done under the outline and direction given by myself, and included multiple revisions and passes as I asked more questions, added more requests for content, and asked for more questions to be drawn up.

For his relentless pursuit of making sure this exam got done, and for dealing with my nagging and critique, combined with his multiple efforts assisting with Project Arx, I'm pleased to render this Steel Cross for your work. Thank you Korro for sticking with things!

Korroth, the man that is a beacon on continous activity. I don't know how he maintains it, but the man is always a reliable source of activity. Even since his last award 2 month ago, he has managed to still participate in 10 of the GJW competitions where he earned 1 Silver Novae for the 2nd place finish in the Battleplan competition. Even over the course of this time and during a GJW war he was always a very active member with his members and team. He continued to dedicate his free time towards the Clan project ran by Rollmistress Blade for the Jedi Praxeum which she has spoken in detail to below.

In addition to all this, Korroth played a huge part in the GJW for our Clan. GJW activity is typically more time consuming and harder to place in than the average competition due to the volume of submissions. For the Battleplan he was the creator of all the images for his team who earned 2nd place in the event netting 1 Silver Nova. The BP was two phases and ultimately contained 36 pages by the end that he contributed the amazing pictures to. No small task. In addition to this he also placed very high in 3 other competitions against a field of many great competitors. He placed 5th in the “Machines are stronger”, and 6th place in Both “Know thy Enemy” and the “Comic”. When we compare the level of submissions, time they took, and amount of other competitors into account it definitely raises the bar to the kind of quality Korroth is churning out.

Korroth your activity speaks for itself and this SC is the least we can do your dedication during the GJW and your service to the Clan's project. Congrats!

Korroth is one of those members who you see consistently, but don't always see exactly what he is doing until it's done. When he is done, there is suddenly a new awesome Wiki page or Battle Plan that reinforces why he is an excellent member.

I have had the distinct honor of working on at least two Battle Plans along side Korroth, one being a First place Crescent winning one and the other the Silver Nova from the most recent Great Jedi War. In my time working with him, I have seen first hand his excellent work ethic ability to work very well in a team.

Congratulations Korroth, you definitely have earned this!

Korroth has been a crucial addition to the Jedi Praxeum project, even though he was a late addition to the team. He was pulled onto the team to do the entire wiki code for the Jedi Praxeum wiki page, but quickly went beyond my initial expectations. First, he wiki-coded the rather lengthy document (~12 pages, 5220 words), taking extra effort to make sure it was a page worthy of being nominated for a potential Featured Article. As a result of his hard efforts, it was indeed nominated for a Featured Article shortly after. Second, he volunteered to review the content for the entire document in depth as a fresh set of eyes, something that was very much appreciated for a 12 page/5220 word document. This was crucial as I wanted to ensure all the sections worked together with each other well and there were no contradictions. No easy task! He even volunteered to give extra content feedback on the content of the Operations and Management section (807 words) during a busy time when I needed extra proofers for an in-depth review. Third, he made custom content + wiki code (totaling 189 words) on the Kiast (Planet) wiki page to reflect this new addition to the planet, tying our new wiki page to the main clan page.

Remember, I only asked him to wikify the document, but he went above and beyond that initial duty. In the process, he helped me get the Jedi Praxeum page over the finish line to make an excellent product that we were all proud of. I greatly appreciated his help. In summary, he did a great job and was a great teammate. I believe the Korroth has earned a Steel Cross.

Congratz and thank you so much!!!
