Varuk is a tall Umbaran male who stands almost six and a half feet tall. He has sunken eye sockets with a slight tinge of pale blue surrounding his eyes, with obsidian pupils conquered by pearly-white irises. The hair atop Kru's head is cut short and devoid of any colour. This Umbaran's frame is slender and narrow, like most others of his kind, and has a well-defined jawline with no facial hair to speak of. His skin appears bright, pale white where it is free of scars, though they are quite extensive. There are several deep chest cavity burns adorning the upper half of his chest, stretching up and curling around the base of his neck. Part of the chest cavity has been partially reconstructed with cybernetics. Finally, in the place of his right forearm is a matte-black cybernetic replacement.
Be it during a fight or life in general, moral compass means little to Varuk Kru. If you don’t want a person harmed, you had better specify. General terms mean nothing to him as Varuk Kru only deals in specifics. If the rules of a duel say you can’t shoot before the count of three? A grenade over the shoulder is fair game, then. Tell Varuk Kru to stop someone at all costs, well, you better not be concerned if they’re brought back dead or alive.
Varuk has a particularly dark sense of humor, even for an Umbaran. This humor is often employed in conversation along with his other personality traits, and most of the time will not seem funny to individuals other then himself. This Ace's grim banter is off-putting to many, leading him to be somewhat of an outsider.
Varuk has several distinct personality traits that form his being, first and foremost being a rather cynical and stoic individual, particularly in the company of or when dealing with Force-sensitives. This Umbaran is equally stubborn as he is stoic and occasionally sarcastic, going so far as to disobey minor orders to prove a point or his abilities in a given situation. These traits have him seen as subordinate and brash with superiors and friends alike - however he never apologizes for who he truly is.
Varuk prides himself on being a piloting ace behind the controls of any small craft; if it's got an engine, he knows he can pilot it - never doubting otherwise. Under the belief that he can fly anything Kru often places himself, or others counting on his piloting skills, in extreme situations that can result in either heroism or destruction.
If Varuk Kru had been in Greedo’s shoes, Han Solo would be pushing up daisies. He almost always acts on instinct, which typically means he can be seen as impulsive and may not think his actions through, especially in situations during or leading up to combat.
Through a mixture of cocksure courage and arrogant swagger, Varuk Kru will not back down from a challenge when called out, even if the wiser path is to walk away or let it go. Varuk Kru's personality does tend to rub a lot of people the wrong way, which generally puts him into situations that escalate quickly to violence. While he may not be the one to always start a fight, he will always see it through to its conclusion. Some have tried to play a challenge off as idle banter, but when Varuk Kru initiates or accepts a challenge, he does not hold back.
