Over the last few months Sidarace Rathden has shown exemplary activity and dedication towards his House and Clan. Since March, Sidarace has done 3 SA exams, earned 33 CFs, participated in 14 competitions, and has kept a very active presence on IRC. His IG participation included the Tribute event, Honorary event, Reverence event, and Gaming event where he played 15 matches and earned 13 CFs. His enthusiasm and dedication to both the Clan and House coupled with his activities is why I believe he deserves a Steel Cross.

Sidarace is without a doubt the most enthusiastic member of House Dinaari if not the entire Clan. His passion to help the Clan succeed is clearly evident if you talk to him for more than five minutes on IRC, which he is on virtually all the time. In addition to having a great IRC presence he's always in contact via e-mail and he's been known to work on the DJB Wiki and post on the forums as well.

In addition to his great dedication and loyalty, Sidarace has also been pretty active in his quest towards Knighthood. In the past three months alone has earned thirty-three (33) Clusters of Fire, participated in over fourteen (14) competitions, and passed three (3) Shadow Academy exams. He also did well in the 2008 Independence Games, jumping in three (3) regular events and playing in fifteen (15) multi-player matches. Very impressive work all around I must say.

Overall this recommendation only scratches the surface of what Sidarace has acomplished not only for himself but Clan Taldryan as a whole. He's got a great personality and I for one am glad he's on our side. Taldryan is lucky to have him and I truly think he is due for this big award. Congratulations, Sidarace, you've earned this one!

Sid is the best leader in the Clan. I've been busy, burnt out, and away for much of the last two months, but despite my own failings, he's continued to prop the clan up. Behind the scenes, Sid is very vocal and gives his input on every Summit discussion. There's little that gets past him. He regularly sends in an Activity Tracker at the end of each month to me, providing helpful information in rewarding the members. On the other side of things, Sid is very vocal in promoting not only his own competitions, but that of various DC members. He publishes regular updates to both his House mailing list and the Clan mailing list informing the members of opportunities, competitions, and events. This Steel Cross far less than what he deserves, but it is a token of my gratitude and respect none-the-less.

During the course of the GJW Sid participated in a grand total of 21 events. On top of that effort he helped lead his House to a 2nd overall placement in the GJW. For his efforts during the Vendetta I hereby award this medal. Congratulations!

Shaz'air Taldrya, otherwise and henceforth known as Sid, started off the Dark Crusades in the position I am currently in now, second in command of Taldryan. For the first few rounds of the Dark Crusades, Sid pushed Taldryan forward, finding ways to compete despite what can be at best be called a dodgy computer. Sid was the epitome of leading by example then, and even since his retirement from leadership, he has continued leading in the only way he knows how: by example.

Since stepping down from Leadership Sid has only stepped up his game, participating in more events, and encouraging the members even more. In total, Sid has participated in over three quarters of the events in the Dark Crusades, including near perfect participation on Taldryan's A-Team, and earning himself 8 Nova, placing in a full third of the events he participated in. For this, I am proud to award him a Steel Cross.
