Clan Plagueis recently participated in the Brotherhood-wide 2008 Independence Games; engaging in friendly rivalry with its fellow Clans as they celebrated our Exodus from the Emperor's Hammer. Our Clan battled for top honors, but ultimately fell short with a Fourth Overall finish. However, several new, young members established themselves as strong participants and role models for all in our Clan. These members, the driving force of our activity, deserve recognition and honors for their efforts.

Vivackus provided Clan Plagueis with 11 submissions in the Independence Games. It was the third highest amount of submissions within the Clan and he was the 4th Overall point earner for our war effort. His dedication over such a short period of time is comendable as he was also working at my side rebuilding the Master-Apprentice Program (audit, new mission, outline, etc). The revamp of the program + his excellent effort in the IGs = what I hope every Journeymen strives to be. Good work, Vivackus.

Even with the long awaited release of the new Lightsaber Guide was published to the website, many questions remained unanswered over the months following its implementation. For all its graphical craftsmanship and the clear passion and energy that was put into the creation of the Guide, there was a significant need for a more streamlined documentation to help members of the Brotherhood pinpoint details of the varying Lightsaber forms in their combat writing for the ACC (and other writing forms as well!). For this reason, the Lightsaber Combat Guide 2.0 was initiated as a 2-3 week project. The Final results of this project can be seen as the newly minted Lightsaber Forms Wiki article.

Going above and beyond his duty as a ACC Judge, Vivackus saw this hole in documentation and was the first to volunteer his aid to fixing it. Over the course of the 2-week project, Viv did a ton of research, double checked facts with Canon and other source material, helped ask questions that lead for more clarity in the descriptions and worked towards creating a comprehensive and easy to read document for both members and judges a like to use as a reference. Viv went through each form step-by-step and made sure that unnecessary details were cut back and necessary ones were added where needed. He helped narrow down which Forms belonged as Feats, and helped with the creation of them.

For his dedicated work and time on this project, I am happy to award this Anteian Cross as a sign of gratitude. Thank you, Viv, for the solid work.

Vivackus came to back to activity in Plagueis at the tail end of the GJW. With the downtime, Vivackus saw an opportunity to do something that could be a hit not only for Plagueis but for the Brotherhood as a whole. He would often ask people if they wanted to do a podcast with him, luckily someone or rather someones decided to take him up on the offer. And thus the PlagCast was born, and since the first pre-TLJ edition Vivackus and co have produced multiple hour+ length podcasts covering a variety of topics and even had their first guest on. What makes this even more outstanding is that Viv came up with the idea, got it approved by our Consul and then worked his butt off to make a dream a reality. Not only is he the creator, but Viv also takes part in the podcast himself and is responsible for editing it, uploading it and sending a brief to a member of the summit to put into a news post on the site. If that’s not already blown your Dagobah event, earning him a spot in the top 5, earned 2 Crescents with Amethyst Star and 1 Crescent of Sapphire Star. Viv has undertaken 2 fictional activities, earning 3 Clusters of Ice and 2 Run On posts that came to a total of 522 words. Viv has also earned 4 Clusters of Graphite, 3 Scrolls of Foundation and 3 Seals of Wrath. Due to his massive effort, I believe he is not only making me proud to be his Quaestor but proving himself worthy of an Anteian Cross.
