It shouldn't have to be said, but unfortunately there's a few who do not have this rule down yet:

*Do not, under any circumstance, forward chain letters to any House, Clan or other Brotherhood mailing list. * Along the same lines, only forward such messages to Brotherhood members you know will appreciate them (and that is very few indeed).

In the same light, there is the issue of virus warnings. If you believe you need to pass on a virus warning you received from an outside source to the general membership, send it to someone who has news posting capability (Dark Council, Consul, Proconsul or Praetor). They will verify the warning to ensure it's not a hoax and if justified, post it.

By following these simple rules, you'll ensure you'll remain much more popular in your Clan than you'd be by breaking them (and that Manji won't forcefully separate you from any sensitive parts of your body).
