If you receive a timeout in your favor based on a short battle (i.e. one that did not reach 4 posts per side), you MAY replace that battle by challenging any other person in the same situation. This is an explicit exception to the "no new battles in phase 2" rule.

Update: You can see exactly who still has how many re-challenges in this messageboard thread. Note that accepted challenges also count towards this number, so if you have a 3 there, don't make 3 and then accept 3 more :)
