Players in the JO/JA ladder:

This is a clarification for anyone of you who might not have concluded it from Friday's post.

In order to eliminate any problems for players who signed up for the ladder late in a week (like Thurs or Fri), I am changing my policy for counting matches from "Sunday to Saturday" to "seven-day periods from and including your signup date" (e.g. a Thursday signup will use a Thurs to Wed week). The rules page has been updated accordingly.

This means every player will always benefit from having the full seven days to play his matches. This can never go against you - at worst (you signed up Sunday), you have the same as before. If you need to know your signup date/weekday, catch me on IRC or mail.

The losses to apply for the past two weeks have been evaluated and as soon as Jac tells me the preferred method for them to be entered into the ladder, I will do so. Eight JO and ten JA players were below the posted minimum and will be subject to the penalty.
