If you are not of the rank to have a lightsabre - you get a training sabre instead. It does not mean you can't participate. Is it a weaker weapon - heck yea! But what did you expect? To be grnated something you have not yet earned? I suppose y'want me to just toss you the CH title right now, huh? LOL. Seriously - the best thing you can do is be your character; if they don't yet have a lightsabre, so be it.
