General Reminder: Don't Cheat

Recently, we at the SA have had a little upsurge in cheating and/or potential cheating. So, as a general reminder: don't cheat. Though cheating is rare in the SA, it does happen.

Helping someone is one thing. For example, directing someone to a website where they might find an answer is ok. Telling someone what the answer is constitutes cheating.

For those of you who know other DB members in real life, and who may visit each other, or even live together, be especially careful. As tempting as it to help, and as much as I like seeing all members being helpful, don't give people the answer. If you need to, go to another room while they take the test.

If you're not certain if what you're doing would constitute cheating or not, contact me and ask. I won't hold it against you just for asking.

Cheating can be punished with temporary banishment from the SA, removal of courses you cheated on, and other penalities depending upon the severity of the cheating.
