Covenant Change Approved by the DC

A week ago I proposed a change to the Covenant to change the wording on how recommendation proposals are to be made. The changed section of the covenant is Article II Rights of the Brethren, Section 2.01 i which originally states:

Any member regardless of position, rank, class, or tenure within the Brotherhood has the power to recommend another for elevation, orders, awards or other honors. All recommendations must be made to the proper authority, but will not be considered as would a request by one appointed the power to make a request for the specific honor.

The covenant will now be worded as:

Any member regardless of position, rank, class, or tenure within the Brotherhood has the power to recommend another for elevation, orders, awards or other honors. All recommendations ** must be made to the direct superior of a member, with Clan leaders sending appropriate recommendations to the Master-at-Arms.**

The new wording was brought about so that it would be clear that recomendations have to go through a person's superior and that a QUA can't rec someone from a different house in their clan (just an example).

If you have any concerns feel free to contact Sarin, Muz, Kir, and myself.
