Please be sure to detail your past experience in the DB and the EH (if you were a member of the EH). You are welcome to discuss your ability to be impartial and judicious but your application should show me these traits - not tell me about them.

I would stress to you that this appointment is not something to take lightly: Praetors often succeed their Dark Councilors when they move on. Do not apply if you only want the position for self-aggrandizement purposes. And consider your feelings carefully: do not delude yourself. This is not an easy job both in terms of workload and the nature of that work. You should be prepared to work very hard, very quickly.

My best advice to those of you applying is to be sincere and honest about everything. Tell me what you think I need to know and show me the quality of your character.
