Halc retired the position of Consul recently, finally able to take a rest from a position without someone sending R2 droids after him about him being our only hope. Halc's been a great guy to have around, and even though he attracts a lot of hatred from people at times, he's been a very positive force for this club. He's been there to help the club push forward, to grow and to become larger, and he's done it despite having his real life trying to reclaim him for several years now. At any rate, he more than deserves this break, and I think that there are plenty of people about who would like to thank him for his work, myself included.

In the void of his retirement, Taldryan needs a new Consul. If you think that you have what it takes to do this job, I encourage you to apply. Paladin and I would like to have this position filled ASAP, so please get your applications to us before September 8th, 2009.
