Moar (Voice) Competitions!

<text size="small">Go read Ronovi's report. Because I forgot to post these yesterday.. </text>

Hey everyone,

Last round of VOICE competitions have concluded, and are currently being judged. We've already put the new ones through the MAA, and here they are:

Trial by Justicar

Your character is standing trial for a crime that they have committed against the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. Write a minimum two page fiction about the crime committed, and the trial that follows. Your character may be innocent, or guilty - the choice is yours. If found guilty, the punishment should follow the severity of the crime.

Entries will be graded on realism, writing ability, and overall grammar/spelling.

All entires must be submitted with the member's pin number somewhere in the email, as well as somewhere on the competition entry. All entries must be sent to [Log in to view e-mail addresses], and will be judged on May 10th. Crescents will be awarded and the next part will be announced. All entries must meet a 2-page/500 word minimum to count.

Imprisonment - Part I

You awaken in an Imperial prison. You're not sure how you got there, or even why you're there. But you are. You're groggy. You can't beckon the Force to your will - you've been drugged. How long will the effect last? You're not sure. The primal instinct is to escape. Through a bit of stupid, dumb luck - you have the chance to do so. In a minimum two page fiction, write your character's imprisonment to rogue Imperial forces and how you make your escape. There will be a follow up to this competition next month.

Entries will be graded on realism, writing ability, and overall grammar/spelling.

So as you may have guessed, I'm starting a new series of fiction competitions - dubbed Imprisonment. This will be a three-competition long series, all being awarded second level crescents. The overall winner will have the possibility of their storyline being featured as canon. I say possibility, because I haven't actually talked with Vodo about it yet.. :P

I've included links to both competition specifics in the titles of the competitions. Please be sure you read all the details before submitting. Failure to follow any of the rules listed will see your entry discarded.

Ambitions: May 10th, when this set of competitions ends, Ambitions will end as well. Some of the Run-Ons I have been reading are simply fantastic, and I cannot wait to re-read them all when the May 10th deadline ends. Keep it up everyone - don't let your story die! I hate reading half finished stories! :)

If anyone has any questions, please email Vodo ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) and myself ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]).
