House Karness Muur Aedile Report #2: Back to business

header

Everyone take a chill pill ~

Well, our latest bug-centric event has come to a close. We had some fantastic participation numbers, but I'll let Slags cover that in his report, so be on the lookout for that! Now comes the ever relaxing aftermath, where we can all leisurely browse the brotherhood website and focus our attention elsewhere. I myself will be playing Overwatch and eating mac n cheese. What are your post-event plans?

Sombra

This report won't be covering shinies, only because Furios said he'd cover it in his report, so ALSO be on the lookout for that. I think we can continue this report now! Let's see what we have here...

What

Competitions

If you're someone who wants to keep your activity going, then I will gladly direct you to a few snazzy looking competitions currently going on. If fiction is your strong suit, there are two that have caught my eye. One where you're forced to work with your nemesis, and the other where you're the last remaining member of your species. They can be found HERE and HERE, respectively.

If you're feeling particularly artsy, head over to THIS competition to design the robes you would wear if you were appointed the new emperor of the galaxy. Is it made of only the finest materials, or would you rather wear a big panda suit? The choice is yours!

Sith Etiquette with Lady Malice

A New Arrival

If and when you make the decision to start a family, it is important to be well versed in the etiquette of the sith so that you may pass that knowledge along to your young ones. However, before you can do that, you must keep them alive. This lesson will break down the main points of caring for a child.

Feeding

As with most grown adults of any species, children require food and water to grow. At times, it seems that they require even more than we do at times, and while you would think it would be ok to forget this every now and again, but if you do not meet a set schedule, your baby will cry. It will scream and it will not stop until it is satisfied. Do you wish to sleep again? Feed your child on time.

Waste products

Due to how much they eat, your child will often and unashamedly soil itself. Thankfully, diapers are still in existence, and that takes care of a lot of the work for you. From time to time, simply replace the old with a new covering, and immediately dispose of the soiled diaper. As with the above instruction, if this does not happen regularly enough, your child will cry.

Sleep

One would think that such a small, growing thing would depend on sleep to keep its energy up. This is true, but of course, there is a twist. Your baby will sleep whenever it chooses and you will have no control over this. It does not conform to the sleep patterns of its species, but will instead sleep all through the day and insist that it is playtime as you're trying to sleep at night. You can try to stop it from sleeping during the day, but this could result in general grumpiness. This is a situation where you must pick your own battle.

Entertainment

Perhaps the only positive thing on this list, your baby will be very easy to entertain. They will laugh at the most ridiculous things. Tearing paper, sneezing, blaster fire. Attach something to a string and tie it to their own foot. It's like how some animals chase their tails, and it will do all of the work for you.

Conclusion

While this report is admittedly shorter than usual, I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless! There will certainly be much more meat to the next one, considering that we won't have just finished up a big event like this. Thank you all again for your participation! We always love seeing everyone work together and stay active with these!

Bye

Himmm. Sith child rearing, fascinating

Lol

Loving the Overwatch gifs. And the competition options. And this entire report. Yeah, awesome report. :)

Lovely report, Lady Malice. And I can't wait to highlight all of the House's crescents (and hopefully some merit awards, possibly even promotions) in my report later this month. I'm proud of the turnout we had this event and look forward to seeing our further improvement with the next challenge we face.
