State of House Galeres

Good Evening Arcona, I wanted to touch base with the House and present some unfortunate news that has arisen. As many of you are aware when I took the role of Quaestor for House Galeres I left the Nighthawk Battleteam without a leader, alongside me rose Ernordeth to the position of Aedile to be my right hand. Due to circumstances in his real life he has had to vacate this position and take some time away from the Club leaving the House without an Aedile and without a Battleteam Leader for its sole Battleteam.

I want to address both positions and what I would like to do to rectify both. As all of you should be aware, we have a Great Jedi War coming within the next two weeks. These changes leave us in a difficult place and I ask your patience as we do what is necessary to rectify them. With that in mind I don’t intend to take the traditional route of applications for either position. Instead, I would like to offer an invitation to come and speak to me if you are interested in developing as a leader within the Club, if you would like a chance to create content, partake in events, assist me in the awarding and recognition of our members and get to experience one of the most immersive experiences the Club has to offer, which is to become a leader among your peers.

We’re going to have more conversations moving forward about what direction we’re going to take Galeres both fictionally and otherwise. I want to be as transparent as I can with what the House needs, what the members need and what the Summit needs from us as well. We make up more than half of Arcona’s membership and it’s important that we recognize that fact for what it is, House Qel-Droma is standing strong, a full complement of House Summit, active members, and a solid Battleteam.

It is our responsibility to ensure they are not left to carry the weight of victory or defeat alone, it is time for Galeres to breathe new life, new energy into the Clan and if you want to be a part of that reach out to me. Speak to me on Telegram, send me an email, discord message or whatever is easiest for you. Bear in mind both positions are open to the Club as a whole, this is not limited to only Arcona or only House Galeres.
