Sim Kar, a Clawdite female with skin and complexion appropriate to her age, is of average height and weight for her species. She has yellow, sullen eyes and gray, wrinkly skin which is usually made even wrinklier with her disapproving scowl.
Having been born inside a star-ship as opposed to planet-side, Sim Kar has never had a particular world to call her home. She grew up in an environment that requires being of use in order to survive, and without the borders that breed patriotism. The allegiances of the galaxy mean little to her, only the strength of individual merit. She is most at peace when in space, and will take on any contract or mission that enables her to remain firmly seated in a cockpit.
This utter lack of affiliation often results in what can be construed as insubordination and disloyalty, putting her at odds with those that value such things.
Sim has a tendency to body-shift into a human woman with amber patchy skin, a receding hairline with gray and pale blue hair, and green eyes — a guise she prefers over her natural form. In human form, she has multiple red facial and body tattoos covering most of her body. This quirk helps her blend into any pirate crew without sounding alarm bells associated with her species. She has a tendency to lose herself in the persona, and even greater issues stepping out of it and into others that may be required of her from time to time.
Sim Kar prefers to push the rules to the absolute limit. While she is unlikely to actually break rules or disobey orders, she toes the line between what is allowed and what isn't at every opportunity.
Sim Kar is a lateral thinker, and when she encounters problems or dilemmas, she is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Sim Kar to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Sim Kar can typically explain and lead others through her plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust her outside thinking.
Sim Kar may wear a lightsaber at her waist, but she always goes for her trusty blaster instead, preferring to shoot it out from range rather than trying to get in up-close and personal. Only as a last resort will she go for her lightsaber.
Sim Kar's passion for technology extends beyond his talent with Slicing. She truly believes that wars can be won with technology, not soldiers, and will always try to avoid direct combat if she can afford it. Instead, she prefers to deploy clever traps with Explosives, or turn technology against others as a weapon. Sim Kar would rather overload a circuit breaker to shock a guard into submission than to test his luck with his hands or a blaster. If removed from technology or her gadgets, however, Sim Kar can easily be overwhelmed. Fortunately, she has no qualms with throwing a smoke grenade down and running for dear life.
