Loadouts

Acolyte Violet D’slan has not created any public loadouts yet.

See It, Save It (General Aspect)

Violet has a visual eidetic memory; she can recall with perfect clarity anything she sees or reads. It's an inborn skill common in her family, perhaps the remnant of alien blood somewhere back in her line, but is as much a curse as a boon. While Violet could copy down any document, map, blueprint, or bit of data needed if it was lost or unavailable, she also remembers every mean note left growing up, every gruesome holorecording of Brotherhood slaughters, and every egregiously wrong and grammatically incorrect trash comment on the holonet. Some, like Arcona, find her skill useful. Others, like colleagues, are envious. And others still are hostile. Violet is shy about her skill for this reason, and often wishes she hadn't seen as much as she has.

Terrifying and Dangerous Weirdos (General Aspect)

Violet hails from the city of Korda on Selen in the Dajorra System, and found work doing what she loves thanks to Arcona's shadowy influence when her intellect was discovered at the universities in Estle. They paid not only for her education but secured her employment at the Shadow Academy and made sure her family was compensated as well. As a result, Violet feels very indebted to them and very grateful, as she's been freed to follow her research. It's almost enough to make it worth the daily terror that is working alongside Force-users, Sith, murderers, and crazies of every kind. Violet might love her research and be thankful for her opportunities, but she knows all the ugliness around her and often feels small and out of her depth in the wake of the Brotherhood's wars, and readily hides in the archives as often as possible.

Reading Is Fun (Personality Aspect)

Quiet and withdrawn most of the time, if Violet has a reason to interject on a discussion for history or lore, she has a tendency to babble. Enthusiastic and socially inexperienced, Violet will talk at length, with random tangents and hard to follow lines of logic. This, however, is when she's at her most exuberant and bold, and she shines when she has something she loves studying to share.

Shrinking Violet (Personality Aspect)

While Violet is extremely capable in the realm of research and documentation, in the social environment she’s often overridden or ignored. Soft-spoken and polite, Violet isn’t one for confrontation, and doesn't make many efforts to change that fact, merely scurrying to complete tasks just about anyone gives her. She's often mistaken for the lowliest of scribes or servants instead of a decorated academic, and she's all too willing to let people walk all over her and take on an insane workload until she drops, seemingly unable to ever tell someone no or assert herself.

Please Don't Hurt Me! (Combat Aspect)

Violet has never been in a fight in her life, nor does she ever wish to be. Aside from the most basic self defense courses in blaster operation forced upon her by her Academy training, she has avoided all such violence like the plague it is. If attacked, Violet would be hard pressed to do any harm, more likely to freeze in fear or dive under the nearest desk and hope and pray for survival. She abhors the idea of physical confrontation even more than the social kind, and has long accepted the fact, quite miserably, that her job might get her killed sooner than later.

Like a Shadow (Combat Aspect)

Violet likes to be with her holos and her peace and quiet, and this is where her connection to the Force seems to actually manifest. The small woman has a natural inclination towards hiding herself, and often cloaks herself or conceals her aura with hardly realizing it. With the right application of desperation and hidden deviousness, Violet can even pull off inedible escapades with these skills, like sneaking back into the library after hours. Or maybe into a cave full of traps because she was bullied into it to get an artifact. Violet can't hide forever, though, and has little else in her arsenal when exposed.
