A handsome specimen by Shistavanen standards; Rook's lupine build is covered in a base coat of white fur with steely gray fur covering his upper head and torso. Below his mandible, the fur is braided into a series of strands varying in length and the longer hair on his crown is pulled back into a ponytail which flows into his mane. Brazen golden eyes rest beneath a bushy brow and his body is solid with toned musculature. Topping off his impressive appearance is a muzzle filled with sharp teeth and black claws.
Rook Oorok does not charge a high price because he has to pay for a life of luxury; he charges a high price because he knows that he is the best in the game and worth the credits. Those who do not know Rook Oorok will feel he is gouging them, but those who have seen him in action know that he always delivers. This bravado follows Rook Oorok around and builds on the success of completed jobs and can be off-putting to other Mercenaries that will try and lash back by pointing out his failures.
If it has an electronic circuit or gears,Rook Oorok thinks he can fix it; everything from holopads to starships. To Rook Oorok, even the most random assortment of scraps from a junkyard can be used to create something useful. he has a knack for fixing things that are broken, and his confidence in this ability borders on arrogance, and if he fails to fix something, he is prone to fits of anger and annoyance.
Rook Oorok doesn't do anything without first having a plan, and is constantly overheard advising others to always “think through their exits”. Every movement he makes—be it combative, manipulative or otherwise—is premeditated and thought out ahead of time. This foresight often places Rook Oorok two steps ahead of his peers. However, when plans go awry, Rook Oorok often has to first backtrack those same two steps to address the present, and that hesitation can often be line between success and failure in the heat of a situation.
Rook Oorok doesn't like to work in groups or teams and feels most comfortable on his own. Rook Oorok sticks to himself, sets his own pace, and doesn't share feelings or emotions with others. While the Lone Wolf can get things done quietly and efficiently, he tends to be emotionally cut off and has problems relating to his comrades.
Without the gift of the Force, Rook Oorok has trained rigorously with a wide range of melee weaponry and technology to better handle opponents that are able to harness the mythical power. Rook Oorok has been conditioned to fight against foes that are Force-sensitive and are able to compensate against fighting an adversary wielding something as deadly as a lightsaber. While this adaptive combat training makes him lethal in close quarters combat against any kind of threat, they are still at the mercy of a long ranged fighter, assailant or Force user that prefers to attack the mind instead of the body.
When it comes to a fight, some like to posture, some like to act tough, some like to dance around and go through all sorts of fancy footwork. Rook Oorok? Rook Oorok doesn't bother with exotic battle stances, intricate maneuvers, or super-secret tactics. Rook Oorok, when cornered into a fight, prefers the ancient technique of a good kick to the nuts. And if that won't work, either because the enemy is a woman or has balls of steel, Rook Oorok isn't beyond pulling a few more cheap tricks out of the bag. Granted, Rook Oorok won't be winning any medals for nobility or any prestige for a unique fighting style or a superb maneuver, but Rook Oorok will still be winning, the best and most dirty way he knows how.
