Physical Description

Isshwarr is a statuesque Wookiee female in most respects. Standing just over two meters tall and covered in tan fur, she cuts an imposing figure in most company. Her bronze eyes, with hints of red that sparkle when the light hit them just right, often have a sad tint to them. A pair of long scars crisscross her back, testament to her time as an Imperial slave. Unlike the majority of Wookiees, Isshwarr is fond of clothes, often decorating herself with loose-fitting, draping garments in shades of red or tan. The logo of the Fade Initiative, red on black, is tattooed just below her right shoulder.

Eschewing Mandalorian customs, she carries few weapons. Though she is seldom seen without the traditional Wookiee bowcaster strapped to her back, more prominent is the plethora of hydrospanners, datapads, and other mechanical and electronic tools that she hangs from her belt or tucks into pockets in whatever drapery-like garment she is wearing.

We Finally Got Ourselves A Genius Mechanic (General Aspect)

If it can be broken, Isshwarr can fix it. Like many Wookiees, Isshwarr possesses a natural aptitude for anything mechanical. She spent a great deal of her younger years studying mechanical and electrical systems, and those skills continued to hold her in good stead. With enough shoe string and electrical tape, Isshwarr can MacGyver together a hyperdrive engine. However, this means she has a tendency to keep technology around long past its useful life and her repairs, though expedient in the moment, are often the only servicing her technology sees. This leads to items breaking down - often permanently - at inopportune times, occasionally causing more issues than simply fixing them in the first place.

Crash Override (General Aspect)

Isshwarr is as talented at breaking computer systems as she is at fixing hardware. With a keen knowledge of electrical systems, the logical mind of an engineer, and a great deal of unethical curiosity, most run-of-the-mill software is an open book to the Wookiee. Her biggest hurdle is finding a keyboard large enough to use and sturdy enough not to break.

You Can't Keep A Good Weird-Bear-Thing Down (Personality Aspect)

No matter what life throws at her, nothing can keep Isshwarr down for long. Despite, or maybe because of, her many emotional traumas, very little can dampen her zeal. This is true emotionally as well as physically. While she studied Wrruushi like most Wookiees, and is a fair shot with her bowcaster, it is her stubborn refusal to give up that sees her through most confrontations. Though it keeps her going through the toughest of times, this same steadfast optimism can be grating on those around her who, despite her experience and wisdom, can see her as naive.

Mother Bear (Personality Aspect)

Though the Clone Wars - and, later, Imperial Slavery - took away her family, Isshwarr never stopped being a mother at heart. Her instinct is nearly always to nurture those around her, and help forge bonds amongst her compatriots. In Kolot and Terran, she has formed a surrogate family, a means of dealing with the overwhelming grief of losing her own. This can make her a joy to be around, a breath of fresh air in the often dark world of Smugglers and Pirates. It also makes her overly protective and territorial. And though her actions towards her little clan are always for their own benefit, they can nonetheless frustrate her companions.

Combat Slicer (Combat Aspect)

While Isshwarr avoids combat whenever possible, she has no qualms working with technology under the stress and pressure of combat. Isshwarr has trained herself to keep calm and focus intently on Slicing even while taking blaster fire from cover or when placed under time constraints. In truth, Isshwarr almost works better when under duress, and actually needs motivation, typically, when Slicing.

That's 'Cause Droids Don't Pull People's Arms Out Of Their Sockets When They Lose... (Combat Aspect)

Though Isshwarr is gentle to a fault, preferring to use her keen wit and jovial nature to resolve conflicts - at least when there's not a bounty on the line - she won't hesitate to utilize her overwhelming physicality when the situation demands it. Like most Wookiees, Isshwarr is incredibly strong and surprisingly quick on her feet, holding her in good stead when combat becomes unavoidable. A single blow to the head from her massive, hairy hands can knock most species unconscious. Nonetheless, her reticence to combat will often make her hesitate, occasionally to her own detriment.
