From Treeguy:
Hey all,
I’ll let the Blueberry do the cheering and announcing (for the most part) and will point out an existing feature to the site and dossiers. If you haven’t done so already, please take a moment to go to your administration page, select edit dossier, scroll down and select your preferred pronouns (if they’re not in the list, come find me on Discord, or via email, I mean, I may be able to get carrier pigeon but I have a good recipe for roast pigeon so don’t expect it back … anyway, if your preferred pronoun isn’t in the list, find me and we’ll talk to James about adding them). Why am I taking time to ask you to do this… I like to address you all in reports, medal & promo reccs and the like and I will generally reference the dossiers when writing those. It’s not fun to have someone accidentally use the wrong pronouns for you or to be the person to make the mistake. I do check the dossiers when writing recommendations cos I’m not good at remembering this stuff and never want to get it wrong. So please, it shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes to do and if you haven’t done so yet, it’s an insanely great help to get me to stress less while giving you all stabby weapons and other instruments of death.
From Blueberry: Our event is closed! Thank you all to everyone who’s participated in the event. We enjoyed looking over all of the submissions and your work, and we appreciate the time that you put into crafting these wonderful things for us. We also appointed our next Deputy of the Dajorran Marshals! Everyone give a wonderful round of applause tooooooooooooooooooo….. Drumroll
Bril Teg Arga!
We’re so excited to work alongside Bril and his ideas for the DM. Here’s a bit from him:
Helloooo everyone,
I'm super grateful to be considered and then selected for this position and am excited to serve in every capacity I'm able. Many of you probably already know me or know of me, but if not I'm looking forward to getting to know you better and to serve.
– Bril Teg Arga, Deputy of the Dajorran Marshalls
‘Oh my god there’s someone alive in there….’
‘Help me, please help!’
‘Call the AAF. We need backup. We need medical support.’
‘Will they even make it in time?’
‘Attention all units, there are survivors in the wreckage. Shift all efforts to rescue and recovery.’
‘H-Help me. Please.’
The panic trying to rush to get the crash survivor out of their pod, of assessing their many injuries– flashes of cold sweat and panic and fear. There were so many out there, too many. There was no way they’d get to them all in time. Even if the AAF booked it to Gethsemane there was no way they’d arrive in time to prevent deaths. Some of the victims were going to die before they ever reached their pods.
Oh gods…
….
….
“ˢᶦᵛᵃˡˡ…?”
“Sivall?”
Sanguine eyes snapped up to the voice that called her name, moving away from the report in progress on the dataslate in her hand. Five percent of the crash victims on Gethsemane had died– either victims of exposure, spontaneous decompression of their escape pods, or blunt force trauma that resulted in instantaneous death upon impact.
It took five hours for the Arcona Armed Forces to appear in the atmosphere of the moon where the crash had happened. Ood had assured her that they had done what they could, that without their help everyone would have died… but it didn’t settle the ache the Aedile felt in her chest.
Was this what Ruka felt like all the time? Is this how Qyeria had felt on Tekpantli after she had massively messed up?
Siva’s eyes finally focused, settling on the visage of the Neti who was her superior. One bark laden eyebrow was raised in either concern or confusion, she could’t tell which. The Chiss medic sighed and dismissedly waved a hand.
This was all part of the job, right? Shouldering the responsibility of lives.
“The candidate for the Deputy position is here, can you handle the orientation?”
“Leave it to me, treeguy.”
Ood nodded, then disappeared off into his portion of the office. Once he was out of sight, Sivall ran her hands over her face and leaned back in her chair. She stared up at the lights in the ceiling above her desk for a moment before the kkkssshhhtttt of the door to her office sliding open forced her to sit straight in her seat.
A familiar, sun-kissed figure rounded the corner to her desk, and the Zabrak’s entry into her office chased away the shadows of her report– filling her features with a soft but warm smile.
“Hello, Botmun’i. Me and our Quaestor would like to formally extend the position of Deputy of the Dajorran Marshalls to you…”

As you are most likely all aware, the Trouble on Gethsemane event has ended! The summit is insanely proud about how well it has gone. Over half the House participated in at least one event. That’s statistics we normally only see in big clan events or club wide events when we’re defending our position as First Clan.
Anyway, a few data points perhaps before we announce the winners:
* We awarded 39 clusters spread over 16 competitions
* We had 16 individual participants (some from outside Galeres even)
* The participation numbers in the house were 45%, if you remove myself and Siv from the total, that goes up to 55% (20 x 5 = 100, 2 x 5 = 10). Though I don’t care enough to do the exact math due to being ecstatic about how engaged everyone was!
Now onto the scoring:
Mad props to our visitors:
* Vyrese Palestar from the Selen Training Corps
* Minato Thanatos Arisato from the Selen Training Corps
* Aiden Lee Deshra from House Qel-Droma
* Sofila "Sagitta" Douve Armis from House Qel-Droma
* Avery Watson who was not in the House when participating but has since joined us in Galeres!!!
Onto the winners!
In first place: Ruka Tenbriss Ya-ir with 24 points!
In second place: Luka Zarkot with 13 points!
In third place: Diyrian “Diy” Grivna with 11 points!
Congratulations to our winners! Props to all our participants! Hurrah for the House! And so on…
(Everyone give a round of applause for treeguy filling in this portion when I was too sick to do so.)

Prepare yourselves for the upcoming fiction detailing the handover of power from our previous CON/PCON to Zuza and her Pecan. I’ve heard it’s going to be.. Interesting, maybe somewhat emotionally damaging.
We also have an upcoming Clan event in the next few months, slated to happen some time between mid March and early April.
As always, Galeres– Arcona Invicta.
