Aari Starfire grew up never knowing her family. She was sold into slavery very young, and was put to work almost immediately. However, due to her age, Aari Starfire bounced from owner to owner until she became a teenager. Having to endure horrible treatment during this time in her life, Aari Starfire has lingering trust issues while carrying an absolute hatred toward slavers. If confronted with acts of slavery, she will most likely lash out in some way, regardless of it compromises her objective.

If it has an electronic circuit or gears,Aari Starfire thinks she can fix it; everything from holopads to starships. To Aari Starfire, even the most random assortment of scraps from a junkyard can be used to create something useful. she has a knack for fixing things that are broken, and her confidence in this ability borders on arrogance, and if she fails to fix something, she is prone to fits of anger and annoyance.

Aari Starfire is a lateral thinker, and when she encounters problems or dilemmas, she is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Aari Starfire to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Aari Starfire can typically explain and lead others through her plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust her outside thinking.

Aari Starfire is very cheerful and happy, and always looks on the bright side of life. When chewing on life’s gristle, she doesn't grumble, but gives a whistle. She always hopes for the best, and enjoys laughing, smiling, dancing or singing. This unending optimism often improves the morale and spirit of everyone around her, and Aari Starfire is always quick with a smile or a joke, even when drawing her terminal breath. This same exuberance can also be tiring to more jaded curmudgeons.

Through careful study and dedication to isolated martial-combat, Aari Starfire has turned the act of dueling into an art form. A keen eye and attention to detail allows her the ability to learn their opponent's idiosyncrasies while fighting. Aari Starfire then uses her own skills to capitalize on the opponent's weakness. Because of this calculated approach to isolated duels, Aari Starfire has a harder time taking on multiple opponents at once at higher skill levels.

Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. Aari Starfire takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario she might expect to encounter. Aari Starfire tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and she often finds herself at a loss in situations that go beyond what she could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, her perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.
