Proconsul Rayne Palpatine, Hand of the Emperor
A showstopper with her wild, natural beauty, she looks remarkably human with a few exotic distinctions. Head to toe, she is a wonderful specimen of the female form and is curved in the right places, lending to a tall, hourglass figure. Her skin is meticulously unblemished and is the shade of a pale winter sunset; ivory with a subtle golden hue that glistens in the light. Bands of silver swirl beneath the surface of her skin when adrenaline kicks in. She has sharp facial features, with a gracefully tapered chin and defined high cheekbones. She has thin almond eyes, reminiscent of a predator. Her irises are bright iridescent pools of aqua. When tapping into the Dark Side, a duel of ice and fire can be seen in her eyes, as the aqua conflicts with the yellow and orange shades found in the eyes of many Sith. Her nose is simply straight and narrow. Full bow-shaped lips conceal a pair of softly sharpened canines. Long, two-toned white and silvery-blue hair cascades like a moonbeam past her waist and is usually left to hang freely.
Her voice is warm and mysterious with a hint of smokiness. She speaks with a slight accent; not quite Firrerreo, not quite Imperial. True to her race, she has various feral vocalizations that portray different emotions, though she has trained to keep them subtle in civilized society.
Rayne Palpatine has a sick sense of humor, viewing the world through dark colored glass. She has a biting sense of black humor, often laughing at things that most people would find reprehensible or down right soul crushing. As a result, those that are not used to her brand of humor often find Rayne Palpatine downright unbearable or overly morbid. At the same time, her cynicism can be useful for seeing through the optimistic altruism of those she encounters.
When Rayne Palpatine does things, she makes sure everything is done correctly, no matter how long it takes. This means there are frequent delays in Rayne Palpatine's work, but it's usually done right, at least.
Rayne Palpatine has a tendency to be secretive and keeps to herself, relying on deception to conceal her motives and intentions. She is a schemer, and plots and plans against others carefully. When dealing with a confrontation, she will try and bluff her way out of trouble, or overcome obstacles with deliberate, covert actions.
Rayne Palpatine is mesmerized by anything shiny and can easily spot shiny objects from a distance. This makes her good at finding things of importance or value, but she may also be distracted by pretty baubles.
Rayne Palpatine has an uncanny knack for identifying traps and alerting others to them. Now, if only she could consistently do it BEFORE the trap goes off...
Rayne Palpatine seems to get her thrills, perhaps sadistic ones at that, from toying with her opponents. Some are content with simply striking down or injuring their opponent, but that is not enough for Rayne Palpatine. No, she wishes to see her enemy descend into madness or kneel before her as a blathering mess; or even better, as a fresh new servant with a muddled mind. The Puppeteer usually forsakes outright hurting and maiming her opponent and focuses on illusions, mind tricks, and other wicked means of destroying a person.
