Empress Rayne Palpatine
She is a showstopper of untamed beauty and refined poise. At first glance, she appears predominantly human with a few distinctive traits that reveal her exotic heritage. She possesses a tall, elegant frame with the right balance of toned muscles and feminine curves, resulting in a striking hourglass silhouette. Her skin is a pale ivory tone brushed with a soft golden hue. It is unblemished and exhibits a natural sheen under light. When her adrenaline rises, fine bands of silver become visible beneath the surface.
Her facial structure is sharp and symmetrical. High cheekbones, a gently tapered chin, and narrow almond eyes that lend a predatory grace to her expression. Her eyes are a vivid aqua. At times, her Nightsister powers cause them to take on a subtle green glow. Her nose is straight and refined, lending symmetry to features that might otherwise appear too fierce. Her lips are full and bow-shaped, concealing slightly elongated canines that hint at her species’ more feral ancestry. Her hair flows past her waist in long, white silken waves. A cascading torrent of two-toned white and silvery-blue flows past her waist like moonbeam.
Her accent faintly carries a fusion of Firrerreo cadence and Imperial refinement and is always hard to place. True to her race, she possesses a range of feral vocalizations. Subtle growls, purrs, and other sounds that slip through when emotion overtakes discipline. Even though she has trained to temper them in civilized company, they still surface at times.
When Rayne Palpatine does things, she makes sure everything is done correctly, no matter how long it takes. This means there are frequent delays in Rayne Palpatine's work, but it's usually done right, at least.
Rayne Palpatine is devoutly loyal to her House or Clan and will follow orders unquestionably. She would sacrifice her own life to protect her House or Clan from harm. This attitude, however, often clouds her ability to see things from an arbitrary or objective point of view and she can come off as extremely narrow-minded.
Rayne Palpatine has a tendency to be secretive and keeps to herself, relying on deception to conceal her motives and intentions. She is a schemer, and plots and plans against others carefully. When dealing with a confrontation, she will try and bluff her way out of trouble, or overcome obstacles with deliberate, covert actions.
All who gain power are afraid to lose it, and Rayne Palpatine is no exception. Some use their power for good, some for evil; Rayne Palpatine, however, knows that these are just points of view. She is on a quest for greater power, and uses all her skills and abilities to ensure her supremacy, regardless of the consequences.
Rayne Palpatine has an uncanny knack for identifying traps and alerting others to them. Now, if only she could consistently do it BEFORE the trap goes off...
Rayne Palpatine seems to get her thrills, perhaps sadistic ones at that, from toying with her opponents. Some are content with simply striking down or injuring their opponent, but that is not enough for Rayne Palpatine. No, she wishes to see her enemy descend into madness or kneel before her as a blathering mess; or even better, as a fresh new servant with a muddled mind. The Puppeteer usually forsakes outright hurting and maiming her opponent and focuses on illusions, mind tricks, and other wicked means of destroying a person.
