He is completely bald, with no facial or cranial hair. Taurus is a male Devaronian of lean, athletic build, standing 1.69 meters tall. His physique is compact and well-conditioned, with defined musculature across his shoulders and arms. His skin is a deep crimson red, smooth and unbroken except for several faint scars. His eyes are dark brown. He is completely bald, with no cranial or facial hair. Two long, forward-curving horns extend from his brow in a symmetrical arc. The horns are obsidian black with a polished finish and taper evenly to defined points. Their pronounced forward sweep is the most distinguishing feature of his profile. A thin scar runs above his left eyebrow ridge, and several narrow, healed marks are visible across his shoulders and forearms.
Having been born inside a star-ship as opposed to planet-side, Taurus has never had a particular world to call his home. He grew up in an environment that requires being of use in order to survive, and without the borders that breed patriotism. The allegiances of the galaxy mean little to him, only the strength of individual merit. He is most at peace when in space, and will take on any contract or mission that enables him to remain firmly seated in a cockpit.
This utter lack of affiliation often results in what can be construed as insubordination and disloyalty, putting him at odds with those that value such things.
Taurus is perfectly capable of fulfilling responsibilities and doing his duties. But goofing off and having fun will always have a heavy sway in his decision making. He sometimes ignores orders or finds ways to spend as much time avoiding an assignment as possible.
Taurus has been patching up the wounded for years as a Medic and has come to the conclusion that more often than not, the injuries are either self inflicted or deserved. While he will always work tirelessly on behalf of his patient in an ongoing quest to preserve all life, that doesn’t stop him from scolding or belittling patients that he feels should know better than to walk into a rancor pit with a bucket of raw meat. Taurus teeters on the line between compassion and supporting selective evolution, which can make him come off as less friendly or inviting than other medics.
Taurus is a lateral thinker, and when he encounters problems or dilemmas, he is very good at improvising and coming up with alternative solutions. This allows Taurus to find ways out of situations others might give up on. While these solutions are often not so obvious to others, Taurus can typically explain and lead others through his plan...as long as they are patient and willing enough to trust him outside thinking.
While Taurus avoids combat whenever possible, he has no qualms working with technology under the stress and pressure of combat. Taurus has trained himself to keep calm and focus intently on Slicing even while taking blaster fire from cover or when placed under time constraints. In truth, Taurus almost works better when under duress, and actually needs motivation, typically, when Slicing.
If Taurus had been in Greedo’s shoes, Han Solo would be pushing up daisies. He almost always acts on instinct, which typically means he can be seen as impulsive and may not think his actions through, especially in situations during or leading up to combat.
