Every character has a past life that they left behind when they joined the Dark Brotherhood and Clan Arcona. Some of us were bounty hunters, hunting prey for credits. Others were law enforcement officers, helping to enforce law and order in a planetary system. A lot of us had even more ordinary jobs, such as being a clerk in an office, or simple and humble menial labor. Or perhaps we hung out in a gang, fighting it out with others over turf?

And beyond our past occupations, we were different people back then. Some of us were beloved pillars of our communities, seen as a symbol of light by our people. Others were bland people that went unnoticed in the background, working behind the scenes. And yet others were dark people indeed, stalking the streets for their next murderous thrill, or plying drugs to the hopeless.

The Dark Brotherhood and Clan Arcona changed all that- made you into something more.

My question for you, my friends, is this: What did your character do and/or what was your character like before they joined the Dark Brotherhood and Clan Arcona?

Minimum Word Count will be set at 500 words, with no maximum. Grading will be done according to the Fiction Rubric, with Third-level Crescents going to the top three places along with Clusters of Ice!
