Good. Now I challenge you to depict one or many of these aspects within the context of a written scene. The context and events are left your imagination. However, this scene must have an introduction and a resolution no matter how intriguing or mundane it might be. You are being judged not only on your ability to bring an aspect to life, but also on your ability to write a compelling scene with it.

RULES

  • 500 words minimum.
  • 2000 words maximum.
  • Submit one downloadable file (doc, pdf, txt)
  • Post the aspect you choose to depict at the top of the document
  • Ask for permission before using another member’s character
  • Must represent one aspect from the CDW: Aspects competition

GRADING

This competition will be graded based on the following points:

  • Ability to depict aspect: 30%
  • Story: 20%
  • Spelling/Grammar/Syntax: 10%
  • Realism: 20%
  • Creativity: 10%
  • Entertainment Value: 10%

Note: Clusters of Ice will be rewarded to all participants.1 cluster / 500 words.
