Name: The Empiricalum

Empiricalum comes from the main term, empiric or empirical. The justification for this name for the research facility is that innovation and discoveries made therein will be based in empirical evidence; on the experiments (both ethical and unethical) that occur in the facility. Whatever the case, the empirical evidence will drive the development.

Durni Research Institute

The Durni is a small rabbit that didn't possess eyes. It lived in underground tunnels on Corellia. Both the lack of eyes (our enemies would not see us) and the fact that they lived in underground tunnels, would symbolize the top secret nature of the research facility!

The Horus Facility.

Why? Coz Horus sounds all sciency and stuff ^^ Seriously though; Horus was the god of the sky. The sky was thought to be endless, if you define sky as space, space is endless too. And that seems a perfect idea for a research base.
