The political situation within the Dark Brotherhood remains volatile, with the Inquisitorius quietly executing the Grand Master’s will within every Clan, and the Clans wondering what Darth Pravus’ next move would be. Knowing that Arcona is currently unprepared for a major conflict with the forces of the Iron Throne - but knowing that a conflict is inevitable - the Shadow Lady and the Arconan Summit begin drawing up plans to prepare for it.

One such plan is to increase the tactical flexibility of the Force Users within the Shadow Clan. To that end, Atyiru has directed that Force Users begin expanding their repertoire of non-Force skills to increase their effectiveness in the field, under the direction of a proficient Non Force User of Arcona. These trainers can be be a Loyalist or a hired Mercenary, although training can be undertaken under a fellow Force User if that person is proficient in a particular skill.

This is a fiction competition in which you undergo training of any particular talent listed under the Skills category of your character sheet. If you are a Force User, you are free to select a fellow Clanmate or a NPC that is proficient in the same skill, and depict your training in said skill.

If you are a Non Force User, you can pick a fellow Clanmate that is Force Using, and direct their training, or pick a skill that is of +2 or below on your own character sheet, and train up on that.

NOTE: In order to direct training of other characters, you or the person you select would need to be at Proficient level (+3) or above in order to execute the training. If it’s an NPC without a character sheet, no problem. But if you select a Clanmate to train you in say Blaster Rifle, and we check his CS and find that he is +1 or even +0, points will be deduced from the realism category. To confirm this, include a direct link to the character sheet for your non-NPC trainers in your submission. This can be found by clicking the "Open in new window" button in the character sheet tab of any dossier page with an active character sheet.

This will be graded according to the Fiction Rubric and Level Three Crescents to the top three places, along with Clusters of Ice! Minimum of 500 words with no maximum.
