The competition is fairly simple, yet requires a bit of time and effort to get the right shot. The goal is to acquire screen shots that can be used in the design of the DBPAs website.
There are three categories to submit in, each category having thier own Sapphire and Emerald Stars for first and second. You can win in more then one category.
The categories are:
Splash Page - A screen shot that can be used on the intro page of the DBPA website. Ideally, this screenshot will be a group picture of PA members, a base flipping run, or some other shot that has multiple DBPAers on it. Winners will be chosen by the quality of the picture, and the content of it.
Charachter Interaction - A screen shot of your charachter doing something cool, talking with Darth Vader, defeating a Jedi, standing on the steps of the Palace on Naboo, etc. These pictures will be used to showcase the various "cool features" of SWG to potential recruits, as well as be a way to get your fame on the website.
Graphics Display - A screen shot that can be used as the background for the main site. It should not be too "noisy" or crowded, and should display something recognizable or popular from the Star Wars universe. Creativity in this shot is important.
General Notes: Play around with your zoom in game to get the best shots, and don't crop any pictures. Move all your displays to the bottom or side so they aren't all over the screen.
Send all screenies to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] with the subject of "Use My Pic - Cateogry" - replace Category with Splash Page, Charachter Interaction, or Graphics Display, which ever is appropriate. Competition ends August 27th, 2 weeks! Enjoy.
