A large part of our characters are the emotions they express, how they express them, how they react to them internally. Emotion in writing can sometimes be overlooked. Without emotions, our characters become rather one dimensional. Questions you should ask yourself… what emotions are strongest within your particular character. Based on who they are, how do they express these emotions? Think about these things, think about how you, the player, feel such things.

“The Fire Within” will explore your character’s emotions in the form of poetry.

Rules:

Submissions should be in a downloadable format, including .doc, .xdoc, .txt and .pdf. You may select on of the following styles of poetry; Cinquain, Emotion Poem, Haiku, Sonnet, Tanka, or Villanelle. Please, make sure to state which style you have chosen to use in your entry.
