Competition: [DC] Rogue One: Battleplan

Objective

The Imperial fleet has just arrived in the Hoth system, and battle preparations are well underway on both sides. The Rebels have raised their theater shield and are preparing to evacuate with 30 GR-75 medium transports, while the Imperials seek to use a blockade and a ground invasion to cripple the Rebellion once and for all. It is your job to establish the battle plan that will carry your side to victory, while inflicting as heavy of losses as possible on the opponent, and minimizing your own!

Imperial Goal

• Destroy theatre shield generator to enable orbital bombardment while allowing as few transports to escape as possible.

Rebel Goal

• Defeat or delay Imperial invasion long enough to alow as many transports as possible to escape.

• Half of the 501st equipped as cold weather assault snowtroopers (5,000 soldiers)

Rebels

• Corona Squadron in 9 T-47 airspeeders
• Rogue Squadron in 9 T-47 airspeeders
• 20 DF.9 Turrets (placed at your discretion)
• 14 1.4 FD P-Tower laser cannons (placed at your discretion)
• 2700 rebel troopers

Resources: Members are free to draw from any canon resources (e.g. Wookiepedia) to develop their plan, and may draw on any map of Hoth they find appropriate for their plan (or may create their own - we won't be sticklers about the topography of the planet).

How We Are Grading

Entries will be graded based upon plausibility (30%), aesthetics (25%), creativity (35%) Members may submit solo or in a group of up to 3 other members. Please provide a statement detailing the contribution of each member. Only one team member needs to submit the entry through the site, we will manually adjust participation records.
