Competition: [Arcona] Selen Development Phase 2: Tailors and Seamstresses

Finished
[Arcona] Selen Development Phase 2: Tailors and Seamstresses

The goal of this competition is to create NPCs to populate the locations recently created in the Phase 2 locale competition. That means tailors, seamstresses, haberdashers and anyone you might think of as a worker of a fine establishment that provides clothing.

This means:

A physical description of the character A brief history of the character A ‘what do they do at the place’ section Anything else you feel is relevant You are free to submit multiple NPCs (try to keep it to a single document and easy to tell them apart, eh?), and are encouraged to do so!

Grading will be done according to how detailed the NPC is and how well crafted they are.

You can find the locales here.

The locales for this competition needing NPCs are Threader's Place, Les Lekku et Vous, Glam! and Secondhand Jane's.

(Er, ignore thee image. Wrong comp)

### **Threader**

The underworld of crime has no cloth merchant more notorious than a Zabrak named Threader. If you want designer clothes for 'cheap' credits or custom street wear, he's the man to go to. Threader has taken advantage of this exposed niche and made it his life's blood, his business spanming from Port Ol'val to Selen.

**Physical Appearance**

Threader looks like your average Zabrack, if your Zabrak was missing a leg and had half a jaw replaced with metal. Threader stands at a full height of 1.80m and a solid 77.11 kgs. His chest is barrel in shape throwing his thin frame into a more intimidating figure when combined with his well developed muscles. Threader's brown skin is marked by black facial tattoos stripping across his face. His lower left jaw is covered by a metal plate, protecting the barely healed fractured bone. Threader's horns circle the crown of his head, laying to the side of the multiply braided mohawk at the center. Last but least of notable traits is the bummed cybernetic right leg that had replaced three-fourths of his leg. The knee joint of the prosthetic has locked several years ago, an issue that has been neglected because of Threader's growing distrust of mechanics.

**Personality**

Threader is a is stern man who accepts little banthadung in his place of business, which always comes first. If a task is asked of him, he'll make sure it's done to the satisfaction of the customer. The Zabrack has set rules he establishes to his life and business, and he doesn't appreciate when they're not followed or heeded. It's best not to seek out his ire.

Janet Zenadi

Granddaughter of Jane Zenadi and future inheritor of the shop (or so she believes), Janet has taken a liking to her grandmothers business, unlike her mother or aunts and uncles. While each of the grandchildren has taken turns helping in the shop and assisting their aging grandmother. Janet is always the first to volunteer to do so, much to the enjoyment of the other children. She has not learned everything she can as of yet from her aging mentor but she's a quick study and has helped bring a new sense of fashion to the shop with her willingness to make use of damaged materials to make something entirely new.

Physically the girl appears in her mid-teens, still yet to reach the point of maturity where she catches much attention - where her appearance may not, her clothing certainly does, nearly every outfit the girl wears she has sewn or tailored herself within the shop to replicate what she believes to be the current fashion on Selen. Bright, garish and far more colorful then the dark, heavy wools her Grandmother produced at her age.
