This will be a series of three competitions every ten days for 130 days. Two fiction competitions, and one graphics competition. The two fiction and single graphics competition will be used to tell your characters stories about an event that has taken place based on the Star Wars books Red Harvest and Death Trooper's.

Placement: For the fiction competitions and the graphics competition, placement will be based on individual placements in the sub-competitions as follows: 1st Place: 5 points, 2nd Place: 4 points, and 3rd Place: 3 points. In case of any ties, the winner will be decided by the number of times they placed in the top three.

Fiction Grading: Will be judged based on each story and its creativity, originality, and relevance to the the story line. Each story will be judged using the Voice Fiction Grading Rubric

Fiction Submissions: Word document or the submission box are the only ways accepted for submissions to this competition.

Graphics Grading: Will be based upon pieces creativity, originality, and relevance to the assignment provided upon each sub-competition. Each piece will be judged using the Herald Graphic Rubric

Graphics Submissions: File formats will only be accepted in the following, .png, .jpg, .gif. Submit entries through the site.

Important additional information: You can use any style to design (digital, traditional, etc). You will be awarded Clusters of Graphite per the guidelines on the Wiki page, in addition to the standard one (1) granted. Each month the first fiction sub-competition will be for the current time line in the story, after the outbreak, and progress each month through the following sub-completions. The second fiction competition will follow your character before the outbreak and tell the story up until the outbreak through the following months sub-competitions. The graphics competition will be a chosen from anything to showing your character fighting infected to design a unique weapon designed to target and kill the infected.

Special note: Any photo-manipulation artwork or multimedia project containing fair use images must include links to source images and credit links to original authors to be considered valid. Disqualifications or invalid entries will not be granted clusters.
