Do the sounds of screams fill the air around you? Is it a eerie tapping sound you hear coming from the halls as the lights flicker on and off? Or is it just pure deadening silence that is all around you as this plague has spread? The infection begins to spread but how did it spread? Every story has a beginning, now is the chance to tell yours.

Objective: From the perspective of your character, may use your NPC(s) along with your main character, of how would your character(s) react to the event. A minimum of 500 words with no maximum is needed to qualify your story for placement. Also, as this is based on a horror serialization please remember that you are allowed to get gory but if you do go into the extreme then please do not make your submission view able to public eyes.

Fiction Grading: Will be judged based on each story and its creativity, originality, and relevance to the the story line. Each story will be judged using the Voice Fiction Grading Rubric
