HMR members have been tasked with a clandestine mission to infiltrate outside of Kar Alabrek, establish entry into the hidden tunnels and secure Level 9 as a primary mission. Secondary mission is to use the tunnels to the Cathedral, secure it and establish it as HMR FOB (Forward Operating Base).
Objective 1: "A ruse is a terrible asset to waste."
*You and your team manage to enter the tunnels and Cathedral unscathed and undetected. To draw out Collective forces you have established diversionary strike teams to create havoc throughout the city in order to disguise your main attack. *
Objective 2: "Flanked!"
The Collective spies have discovered your ruse and have alerted the masses. Collective leadership is now making a push to surround and secure the Cathedral grounds. HMR forces must make an immediate audible to their tactical plan in order to outflank enemy forces and gain the upper hand.
Rules
In order to have your fiction count as a vote for your objective of choice, your entry must contain a [Objective X] tag in the submissions file name, or the document itself. Any entry that does not include an Objective tag will not count towards voting, but is still eligible for participation/placement. In example: [Objective 1]fiction.pdf
Participants must submit entries in .pdf, .doc, or .docx format, or use the submission text field (markdown capable).
*Entries must be a minimum of 500 words.
Any entries that are under 500 words will be Disqualified and ineligible for participation or placement.
There is no maximum word cap.
KEYNOTE: Within your story your character or your NPC, must describe/relay back to Summit Command with intel of what changes, modification or dismantling that have taken place since the Collective took control of our properties.
Your story should be centered on your Main or Alternative character or on an appropriate Collective or NPC character as allowed by the Objective you choose. Slotted NPCs, Wikipedia NPCs, or other characters that you create or invent to tell your story are allowed and encouraged. However, your narrative should focus around either your Main or Alternative character or your selected faction NPC.
If writing from the perspective of your main character or alternative character, a snapshot of your Main or Alternative character loadout must be selected and submitted with your entry. Failure to attach a snapshot will prevent you from placing. If writing from an NPC, make that explicitly clear.
