Competition: Styles: Cartoon Basics
Participants! To your digital pen, your color pencils, your oils for the Praetor has challenged you.
Your task is as follows:
Draw a picture of your main DB character or alt. The twist? You must draw him/her/it as a cartoon character. Are they the hero of a Saturday Morning cartoon? The villain? Maybe they’re the main character of a recurring comic strip in a newspaper? Maybe some artist drew a caricature of them?
Here is an example.
What qualifies as a cartoon?
A cartoon is a type of illustration typically drawn in a non-realistic or semi-realistic style intended for caricature or humor. Characters generally feature unusual or exaggerated physical traits, body proportions, and expressions, such as large eyes or unrealistically large hands. The cartoon allows for great creativity.
