My Friend

Lando Calrissian is the kind of friend you can count on to do the wrong thing at the right time. He will even stab you in the back to save you and he will stand up for his actions for all but two seconds until he is threatened by your father in law or your best friend. Once you are carried away in carbonite, you can count on him to fly off into the sunset with your girlfriend and your best friend. A trustworthy man until he isn’t.

Too Pretty to Fight:
Lando's personal preference for flamboyant clothing and expensive gear can lead many people to think that he is not nearly as capable of a fighter as he is. Leaning on his reputation as a famed gambler and scoundrel, Lando considers himself more of a Lover than a Fighter, and prefers to use his charm and wit instead of a blaster. While he would much rather avoid combat as much as he can, Lando will take risks many would consider absurd in order to defend those things that he loves, be it his ship, his cape, or sometimes even his friends.

Lando Calrissian is always ready to bargain, no matter what the situation. It is speculated that he would have sold his own mother if the price was right, but Calrissian's deals are often not what they appear. Lando calculates absolutely everything before suggesting his terms, and nine times out of ten he will come out of the deal better off than when he went in.

However, his ruthlessness has earned him a reputation as a slippery character; Lando Calrissian has very few who he call a friend.

Old Buddy, Old Pal

Lando Calrissian is a showman at heart. More than being amiable, he acts largely in his own interests, not hesitating to cover up small fibs or bold face lies with a warm smile and a laugh. He uses the expression to hide his true thoughts as he filled a number of roles: as smuggler, as administrator, as entrepreneur and as a General within the Rebellion. This smokescreen has allowed him to work in spite of authorities such as the Empire, and has made him more successful as a gambler. The man is not without a conscience, he just acts in his own interests first.

High Roller

To Landonis Balthazar Calrissian, gambling is more like first nature. He's been doing it so long and at such a variety of stakes that no bet or gamble will phase him. The measure and calculation of risk and reward so thoroughly underlays his mind that it influences almost everything he does. He spends lavishly on his possessions and puts off an aura of smoothness and wealth in even his minute mannerisms. The way he acts speaks to his gambler's status in everything he does from combat to commerce to romance.

Take What You Can.

Lando is a rogue through and through, and this is displayed in his approach to life and how he gets things done. Pushing the deck in his favour he is unafraid to cheat when he has to, or simply when he wants to and if that fails then he is more than happy to turn on the charm and see where it takes him. He pictures himself as the suave, handsome ladies man that everyone loves and will utilise his skills to get whatever he wants. Despite this, he is loyal to his friends and will use his skills however he can to help them, often putting himself in jeopardy to ensure the success of a mission or his friend's lives. After all, there has to be some people in the galaxy who don't want to shoot him.

Wise Cracking Dirt Merchant

Lando is nothing more than a scoundrel in a well dressed suit. He is a textbook narcissist, always looking out for himself. His cavalierness comes across as a brash used ship salesman, one who would sell just about anything to make a buck. His slick tongue and quick wit keep folks on the defensive, allowing him to manipulate the situation to his advantage. Lando is very frugal and covenant of his belongings, never tipping his hand to anyone. He is only sociable to sell his ruse, but its all an act. He makes for a terrible friend, constantly try to alleviate others out of money or possessions. This side of Lando, more often than not, lands him in hot water with the most unsavory of people.

He's a super freak, he's super freaky.

Landonis Balthazar Calrissian loved life and he loved women, and occasionally men and if the rumors are true he might have loved droids as well. It’s said that he lived hard and fast and loved hard too (we can’t attest to whether or not he loved fast, but presumably not). He liked to live life on the adrenaline pumping edge; enjoying risk taking, smuggling, gambling, fighting and fuuuu…. making love and he wasn’t particularly choosy about who shared his pursuits with him as long as he found them sexy. This gave him more options for pleasure or manipulation, but made him more vulnerable to the manipulations of others.

Everything You've Heard About Me Is True

Rumors about the great smuggler, Lando Calrissian, may be exaggerated but he's not one to shut them down. He lives a grandiose life with all the perks (and risks) that come with it. As a result, sometimes he gets himself in over his head when he starts believing the rumors himself.

Close to the chest

Lando Calrisian is widely known as a hustler and a cheat. Whether it’s a game of Sabacc, trade agreements, or dealing with gangsters he always makes sure to get his way. On the surface he is cold and selfish, but underneath that confident swagger Lando cares a lot more than he lets on. He will ensure that those around him are taken care of and protected as best he can, even if it doesn’t look that way. This has been known to put him in a difficult position with those closest to him that see his helpful actions as less protective and more treacherous. Though it may not seem like it, behind his overconfidence and arrogance, Lando has a heart of gold. But he plays that one close to the chest.

Smooth as Silk
Lando Calrissian has a gift for lying, easily disguising his true intentions under clever words and slight misdirections. Whether he puts this skill to use pranking his friends or betraying them, he will often be perceived as slippery and untrustworthy. That being said, seeing through his deceptions are difficult and he loves to put this skill to use.
