Competition: Taking The Longer Path

Prompt: Your main character or your alt never came across the Brotherhood. Until today. How differently did their life turn out? Did things happen differently in their clan as a result of their absence?

Rules:

• You must write about an alternative version of your main or alternate character
• If your chosen character is Force sensitive, they still must be Force sensitive, and vice versa. However, you may write a Force sensitive character as being unaware of their own powers.
• You may write about your character as well as whichever clan they’re part of in the regular timeline.
• Your chosen character must discover and join the Dark Brotherhood at the end of your story. They cannot join the Brotherhood until after the most recent Great Jedi War
• If you use others’ characters, please get permission before doing so.
• As this is an alternate timeline, no snapshots will be required.
• The minimum word count is 500 words.
• Submissions will be accepted in any digital format. However, please submit Google Docs submissions as a .pdf or .docx file.

Grading: Grading will follow the regular Fiction Grading Rubric.
