Competition: A Pet for the Aedile - A Black Guard Competition

Specifics

The Aedile of Ludo Kressh is in search of a pet. Not just any boring old pet, but a unique, scary and dangerous pet. I want it strong, fast tough and above all lethal. The rest is up to you, reptile, insectoid, arachnid or mammal, scales, feathers, or fur, thats where your imagination takes over.

I want it big, but small enough to fit through a doorway or corridor and hide in the shadows if it needs to. I want a description of what it is, where it came from, what it can do and above all a great picture of it. Oh and give it a name that strikes terror into the hearts of anyone that hears it. The member who can find or breed such a pet will have proven themselves worthy of the title of Black Guard.

Entries to be in html if possible. Entries judged on how scary and impressive the creature looks in the picture, the description of its strengths and abilities, how practical it is, and how realistic. Remember I want scary, no yellow and pink rabbits called Thumpy :)
