Competition: Pontus de Arconae

You have received congratulations for winning a competition from the highest areas of Arconan society, it is a great honour to receive this prize and you have been chosen to design and build a grand new bridge to cross one of the many waterways in Selen……. Only one problem….. You never actually entered the competition. However it seems you have no way to get out of this exclusive contract.

You must write a fiction that looks at how you react to this situation, how you deal with it and go forward. Perhaps you are a great bridge designer, perhaps you have no clue whatsoever. How does your character resolve this awkward situation
